"Hello Jonathan. Do you know why I've called you to my office?"
"I'm not sure sir, I'm sorry."
"it's about your story. I apologize for my rudeness, but your story contained many details about the murders that is supposed to be unknown to the public, and I need to know how you learnt those details."
"How do you know that, if it's supposed to be unknown professor?" Jonathan asked, an eerie tone in his voice, and his face blanker than he thought a human could be.
"I used to be a member of the police force assigned to some of those cases. We had to sign non disclosure agreements to make sure those details didn't get out, which is why I need to know this, Jonathan."
"I apologize professor. I am a very avid fan of... true crime, and I managed to piece together some details."
Dave paused before speaking again, getting the impression Jonathan had been lying to him, but decided not to push it.
"Alright Jonathan, you're free to go."
"Thank you professor," Jonathan said, not moving from where he had been standing.
Dave paused before standing.
"What do you have next?" Dave asked. "I'll write you a pass."
"I have a free period professor, but thank you." Jonathan said, still not moving from his spot in front of his desk.
"I'll see you on Monday then."
Dave couldn't get out of there fast enough.
--
"Hello professor."
"Jonathan? Where are we?" Dave asked, or at least tried, his vocal cords not cooperating with him.
"Don't worry, you won't be awake for very long."
The lights flickered, and then turned off.
"You won't feel a single thing."
--
"Hello, professor. My name is Jonathan."
"It's nice to meet you kid! I'm sorry about your previous teacher, but I hope we can get along!"
"I'm sure we will," Jonathan said, smiling widely, his teeth bloody.
