I actually had a friend like this in high school, which is who this chick is based on. I actually 1) don't like the " women used in a negative way to push the characters together / move the plot along " but this story is around five to six years old at this point. and 2) now canon-ly ship this red head now with the girl who confessed to Lynne in the previous chapter. They are dating and they get together by chapter 16, even though its not shown at all.
