"Ukh!"

I open my eyes.

". . .Its, pitch black! This is the inside of Lily-san's heart?"

After a few seconds, my eyes began to adapt to the darkness.

"I'm starting to see that I'm in a dark corridor, a very dark one."

I run across the corridor. There was nothing but the sound of my footsteps. The sound of my footsteps also doesn't sound like I am running on solid ground. It is more like the sound of stepping on sticky liquids. The strange thing is that my feet don't get wet nor is it sticky. It feels like I am running normally on normal, solid concrete. 

I ran and ran and ran until I actually reach a room.

"Lily-san! Are you here?"

The room was all black. It was a wide round room. My eyes adapt to the darkness even further and I began to see some decorations in the room. There are black clock hand swords all over stabbing the floor. On the further back of the room, there are two black giant clock hand swords that cross each other that rest against the wall in the back. There was also a circular line of black clock hand swords under the two giant black swords. Behind the line of the swords, I finally see her.

"LILY-SAN!"

I ran and close my distance towards her. Lily's appearance was the same as prior to her Second State except for the fact that a lot of the black clock hand swords are stabbed on her back that pierce through her chest. She does not bleed blood but black liquids. Black liquids are also pouring lightly from the side of her mouth as if they are normal blood drops. She also has her head down towards the floor as she stands.

"Lune. . .hart-san. . .what are you doing here?"

Lily's voice was so weak. She sounded mentally exhausted.

"I came to save you!"

I said such a heroic line with a confident smile on my face.

"You. . .shouldn't be here. . . I. . . am dangerous. . ."

"No, you're not, Lily-san!"

Suddenly, Lily's act and her entire mood shifted 180 degrees.

"MI-CHAN!"

"Lily-san?"

"YOU KILLED MI-CHAN!!"

Lily raised her palm towards me. She closes her palm as if she wants to crush me from a distance with that palm of hers. Suddenly, a black sword stabs my right foot.

"ARGH! WHAT THE--?"

Strangely, the pain wasn't physical, but emotional. And then a horde of black swords are swarming towards me from all angles possible.

"URGGH!!! LILY-SAN!! STOP THIS!! I CAME HERE TO HELP YOU!!"

My body was full of black clock hand swords. I was stabbed all over.

"SILENCE, MURDERER!!"

I couldn't move. There are too many swords on my body. It's strange, I feel physically limited even though the swords aren't physically hurting me. All of a sudden, I feel intense pain in my chest.

"(This is her. . .)"

Memories are flowing into me. They rapidly enter my heart and my mind. I am receiving Lily's memories of her past.

"Mi-chan. . ."

". . ."

"Mi-chan!"

". . ."

"Wake up! Mi-chan!"

"Uuuuhhh. . ."

Michelle opens her eyes.

". . .Huh? What happened?"

"You lost consciousness."

"I see. . . Where are we?"

"Hehe. . ." Lily suddenly smiled at Michelle.

"We're outside! We're in the world outside of the facility!"

I and Michelle have escaped the facility and are now in the outskirt of Paris city. Michelle's eyes suddenly brighten up.

"F-For real?"

I hug Michelle tightly.

"Yes, for real!"

Michelle starts crying tears of joy. She cries for a few seconds and then quickly wipes her tears away. I let go of my hug.

"So, what should we do now Mi-chan?"

"That's right! We should go look for cute clothes! I'm tired of these ugly outfits."

"You're right! Where should we go?"

"Okay, first of all, we're gonna steal them so tell me how your Faith power works!"

"Steal? I guess it's okay. So, here's what my Faith power is, my Faith power is called Chronos' Wisdom, a Special type. It is a mix of Elemental and Ability type and a bit of transformation I suppose. I have four abilities available. I can Accelerate, Rewind, Slow, or Stop time, but I can only use two of them at the same time. On top of that, I can manipulate the flow of time and form shapes according to my liking, just like an Elemental type. My eyes can change into the same color as my swords and clocks. My hair can also change color as well, though it has no purpose at all other than as a form of intimidation. The change in my eyes actually allows me to use one of my four abilities through my eyes giving me a different kind of power, such as using Accelerate on my eye will allow me to absorb information a lot faster than the average human eyes thus allowing me to read enemy movement and stuff like that."

I summon my clock hand swords and my clock shield on my hands.

"These are the shapes that I can form at the moment and unlike proper Elemental type, I cannot generate time on my own."

"WOW! Your Faith power is truly strong! So, that was your time-stop back then?"

"Yup! You guessed it!"

"Okay, let's use your time-stop and steal some clothes!"

We leave our current location and headed towards the closest children's cloth store. We arrived in front of a fancy-looking store. I used my time-stop and we both enter the store. 

We spent a long time trying out every clothes that caught our attention. We cannot decide which one we should choose so we decided that we will pick each other's clothes. 

Michelle entered the changing room and wears the clothing that I picked for her. The tray to the changing room opens.

"YOU LOOK CUTE Mi-CHAN!!"

"I-Is that so? Then I'll choose this."

Michelle is wearing a long sleeves shirt with green and white flower patterns all over it with an overlay of a dark brown overall skirt and a pair of white socks and dark brown pair of girl's shoes.

"Your turn Lily-chan!"

I change my clothes quickly and exit the changing room. I am wearing black short sleeves hoodie with black short pants, a long black pair of socks as tall as her knees, and a pair of black shoes.

"LILY-CHAN TOO COOOOOOLL!!!!"

"I guess I'm wearing this forever then hahaha!"

We both let out our loudest laughter without restrain. This is what freedom feels like. We are finally free from the shackles of the facility.

"Let's get out Mi-chan!"

"Yahoo!"

We both waltz out of the store as fast as we could. Our running is now more energetic than ever.

"What should we do next?" Lily asks.

"Let's go eat!"

We proceed to find the closest fancy restaurant. As time still doesn't flow, we can access any places as we wish. We enter a very expensive-looking restaurant.

"WOOOAAAHHHH!!" 

Both of us are in awe by how everything is so shiny, glamorous. The food looks delicious and high class. It's also a bit weird seeing how crowded the restaurant was and not a single person is moving.

We find an empty table and sit on it. We wait for a while until we realized something crucial.

"If time stops, who's gonna prepare our food?" asked Michelle with a flat tone.

"Y-You're right, haha. . ."

"Let's do this then!"

Michelle presents her idea. We went to whichever food caught our attention from the other customer's table.

"What's this food?"

I grabbed a boiled chicken that has been smeared with brown sauce. I taste the food.

"MMMHHHHH!!!!!"

I was surprised by how good it tastes. 

Michelle took a bite of a big lobster.

"TASTE SO GOOD!!!" Michelle was also surprised by the lobster she ate.

We proceed to taste foods from all over the other tables and enjoy ourselves out.

10 minutes later. . .

"I'm stuffed!" said Michelle while rubbing her tummy as a sign of satisfaction.

"Me too, but aren't we too young for these kinds of food?"

"Who cares Lily-chan! This is our reward for escaping from that hell!"

"You're right!"

"By the way, Lily-chan, how much left until your time stop is over?"

"Oh, I actually can hold it as much as I want. So, let's have all the fun!"

"For real!?"

Both of us proceed to do whatever we please. We went to a mall. We play hide and seek. We did role play where I was the customer and Michelle was the store clerk. We went to check some girl's shoes. We play dress-up wearing various uniforms. We play some badminton in the middle of the mall. We swim in the most expensive swimming pool in the city. We do almost everything we can think of about what we normally can't do while inside the facility. 

Afterward, we decided to head towards the Eiffel tower. I cancel my time to stop. Everything has moved normally again.

"Why did you do that, Lily-chan?"

"Well you see, I read something a while back that there's something amazing up there when the clock hits 6:00 p.m."

We queue in a line towards an elevator that would take visitors towards the top of the Eiffel tower. We waited for 5 minutes until it's finally our turn to enter the elevator. The elevator door has closed and we are ascending to the top of the tower. While going up, we are able to enjoy the view of Paris city from high above. The walls of the elevator are made out of glass for the purpose of letting visitors enjoy the beautiful view of the city. 

It was almost nighttime, the clock says 5:59 pm. Once the elevator reached the top of the tower, people inside the elevator are rushing to get out of the elevator to reach the glass wall of the top floor area. Michelle was confused as to why people are so impatient of going out of the elevator.

"We should follow them, there must be a reason why most of the visitors are all crowding up the glass wall."

"Well, that's what I just told you!!" pouts Lily as she feels like Michelle wasn't listening to her earlier.

I grab Michelle's hand and we both walk closer to the glass wall. As soon as we reached the glass wall, the clock turns 6:00 pm. At the same time, the Eiffel Tower is lighted up together with the city itself. The lights of the city are turning on as if they are spreading all over the city. After a few minutes, the city itself has been lighted up by millions of lights. It was the most beautiful scene that both Michelle and I ever witnessed in our whole life. All of the visitors are shouting words of gratitude and praise. All of them were awed so much by the unrivaled beauty of what just happened. Paris, the capital city of France is said to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, seems like it lived up to its reputation. Michelle and I were so happy by the sight we saw.

"Lily-chan. I suddenly fell in love with this world."

"What's with you all of a sudden?"

"You see ever since my own father gave me away to the facility, I lost any will to live. I feel betrayed. My own father would disown me and throw me away for no reason at all. And living in the facility was just hell. Every day is just pain. I see no reason to continue living. I even purposely mess with the experiments that I was put into so they would get rid of me. Was I born just to be tortured? To be a lab pig with no other options? I hated being alive!"

"Mi-chan. . ."

"But, all of that has started to fade away. Ever since I got someone that can relate to my misery."

Michelle pauses for a second.

"However, looking at this now. I am happy. I felt like I can get through life. This view. . .This world. . .it's truly wonderful. Lily-chan, thank you for being a part of my life. You've changed me."

Michelle gives out her brightest and most genuine smile towards me. I put my hand on her shoulder.

"No, I should be the one thanking you!"

We continued to watch the amazing scenery after we let out our most personal thoughts.

"Hey, Lily-chan!! They are selling french bagels over there! LET'S GO!! LET'S GO!!"

"Mi-chan, I was tearing up just now, and you ruin the moment just for a bagel?"

Michelle didn't even hear me. She just pulled me and dragged me in enthusiasm towards a bagel stand.

"BAGEL! BAGEL! BAGEL! LILY-CHAN, I'VE BEEN HEARING ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC TYPE OF BREAD DURING EDUCATIONS INSIDE THE FACILITY! AND I FELL IN LOVE FROM THE MOMENT I LEARNT ABOUT IT!!"

Lily noticed that Michelle's eyes have changed shape into that of a bagel. She is surprised by Michelle's spirit towards bagel.

"(This bagel obsession really came out of nowhere. . . Oh, well, she's cute like this.)"

We have reached the stand that sells French bagel.

"Wait, Mi-chan!! What about the money?"

"I have it."

"Woah!! How do yo— Ah, nevermind."

I stop and realized that she probably stole some money during the time stop. 

Michelle bought two bagels, she gave one to me. We find a bench to sit down and relax. 

We both eat the bagels together in harmony. After we're done, Michelle is a bit sleepy and she rests her head on my shoulder. I also rest my head on top of Michelle's head. We both then sleep so soundly for a while. 

After a while, we both wake up. I feel really calm. I currently have no care in the world. Being washed away by the calmness of this situation, I came up with a certain determination.

"Mi-chan!"

"Hmmm?"

"Do you really think the facility would just let go of us that easily?"

". . .I don't, to be honest."

I face Michelle and grabs her on both of her shoulders.

"There will most likely be pursuers. We're gonna be chased all around the world every day and even for the rest of our life. That's why I will protect you with everything I have. That's a promise!"

"Lily-chan, thank you!"

Michelle hugs me.

"You are my dearest friend. Of course, I'll protect you!"

I hug her back.
