I opened my eyes and the sun shines directly into my eyes. Nanami and Maki were inthe kitchen eating breakfast. I got up from the sleeping bag and went to the kitchen. Maki looked really tired. She certainly didn’t sleep well last night. Nanami was cleaning her glasses. I sat at the table.

“Good morning” I said.

“It's not a good morning. I couldn’t sleep in a sleeping bag at all” Maki said.

“I'm very sorry. I should have bought two beds before you came” Nanami said.

“I had no problems. I slept really well all night” I said and hugged Nanami.

“I also want to hug”

“Of course” I said and gave Maki a hug.

Everything continued as normal after that. The sun was shining outside, but I couldn’tforget what Celestia said. She wanted me to kill her. But why? I don't even know if she's real or not. I took one bite of my bread until a bird hit the kitchen window. The three of us were startled and ran out to see what happened to the bird.

We ran out and noticed many dead birds on the ground. Why are all the birds dead? Why are there so many of them? I looked at Nanami and found that she was very sad.I went next to her and took her by the hand.

“Is it now the hunting season or why are all the birds dead?” Maki said.

We looked around for a moment until we noticed someone coming from the forest next door. It was Mari. What is she doing here? She wore black pants and a black hoodie. I let go of Nanami's hand and walked closer to Mari.

“What are you doing here?” I asked.

“I came to see you” Mari answered.

“Who are you?”

“I am only a servant”

“It wasn't just a dream?”

“No. Everything you have seen really happened”

“What do you want?”

“I want to show you one place. I would appreciate it if you would come with me.”

“Can my friends come along?”

“No. I can only take one there”

“What do you mean?”

Mari walked next to me and took me by the hand. I didn’t have time to do anything until the big light blinded me. It felt like being torn in two. I blinked once and we were in a completely different place. We stood on a big rock and in front of me was the same garden that was in my dream. I got cold shivers. Behind the garden was a mansion. It was also the same one that was in my dream. The only difference was thatnow the place looked like no one had lived there for years. Mari said nothing and went for a walk towards the mansion. I had no choice but to follow her.

Mari opened the manor's big door and walked in. I walked carefully behind her. The place was abandoned and no furnitures where nowhere. Mari on the corner of the floor with a big book and gave it to me.

“What is this?” I asked.

“That book tells you everything you need to know about witches”

“Why did you give it to me?”

“Because you have to kill Celestia”

“But why?”

“Celestia has lived for thousands of years and every year a ceremony is held where one is chosen to kill the witch. You have it chosen. Others have failed but you are the first to do it.”

“Why me?”

“Because your parents made a deal with the witch”

“It's impossible”

“No. It happened just before you were born. Your mother was dying and the witch promised to keep her alive but only if her child killed her”

“But my mother died in childbirth”

“Your mother is a prisoner of a witch”

“What?!”

“That's why you kill the witch. Otherwise, you will never see your mother again”

“What about my father?”

“Your father died the same day you were born. He was weak and the witch killed him”

I started to cry. I don’t know if Mari’s words were true, but I knew the witch had something to do with all the events. Outdoors began to rain suddenly. The clouds turned black and I saw from the window when lightning strikes were coming towardsus. Mari took the pen from her pocket and started drawing in the air. It didn’t take long until a portal appeared in front of her.

“Go fast you don't have much time” Mari said.

“B-but...”

“Just go!”

Suddenly a bald man with really big teeth flew through the window. His black eyes stared at me until he began to approach me. Suddenly the man flew towards the wall. Mari's eye had turned yellow. Did she do that?

“Go already!” Mari screamd.

I was startled and jumped on the portal. I suddenly felt tired and i fell asleep.

I opened my eyes and found myself lying on the floor of my own home. I was just getting up until I noticed the same book that was in the mansion. I had accidentally taken it with me. This also proves I didn’t just see dreams. I took the book and put it on the table. I opened the first page with a picture of the mansion. Below the picture was the text "LaValoza". It had to be the name of the mansion. I opened another page stating that the mansion had been built in 1927.

“The original name of the mansion owner is Luka Ludberg. He built a mansion for his family. He was rich because he was a tough businessman. Luka died of a heart attack just before his firstborn was born. The wife and child moved out of the mansion two years after her husband’s death. After that, the manor was empty for a long time until new residents moved into it in 1934. The family included a mother, father and daughter. The family had had a really hard time because the daughter had atumor in her eye. All the money in the family went to surgery and the daughter had tolive the rest of her life with one eye. The whole family mysteriously disappeared in 1939. The police searched for them but it was all for nothing. Some said that the whole family drowned in the sea and some claim they moved out of the country.

“Mari?” I spoke out loud.

I was just opening another page until a portal opened behind me. Mari came through the portal. He had a wound on her cheek. The portal closed and Mari sat at the table. She noticed the book.

“How much did you read?” Mari asked.

“Not much. A few pages” I answered.

Mari took the book in her hand and opened it in the middle. I saw how worried look she had.

“The mansion is the beginning of everything. If the mansion had not been built everything would have been fine.”

“You are that girl in that book, right?”

“Yes. I died a long time ago”

I saw how she started to cry. She was like a doll with only one eye.

“What are you doing here?” I asked.

“My job is to help you. You have to kill those witches in three days or else the whole world could be destroyed”

“What?!”

“Every day only makes the situation worse. As you noticed those birds at your friendshouse. That is just the beginning”

“What can I do? How can I kill a witch?”

Mari got up and took the box from her pocket. The box was small and completely black. She gave it to me. I tried to open it, but it didn't open.

“How do I get this open?” I asked.

“When the time is right it opens” Mari answered.

I didn’t have time to say anything else until Mari took the book from her pocket. The book was smaller than the previous one but I still didn’t understand that how she made it fit in her small pocket. Mari put the book on the table. Books name is "One Eye". I was just asking Maria what this is but when I turned around she was gone. I sat in a chair and opened the first page.
