no words more like no lettering
(read first image as the aaaa aaa aaa part and the 2nd page when the words actually do start)
I had alot of fun using noise and a yellow tinge to give it that 80s vibe
On a side note, i know its been a while. While I was really busy with college portfolios and SATs and stuff so I didn't have much time for my comics :(
On a good note, my ap art concentration is centered around comics and i still need 5-7 peices to go by May 20 ;)
5/6/21 EDIT
Hello A month later- I am on my last semester in highschool and things are getting nuts, so sorry if there's gonna be a huge hiatus after the next page, I'm doing a 3d model of Sophie and Eileen for a school showcase and I will post it onto my wall. Anywho, I combined the flat colors with some textures in an attempt to develop my comic styles - I hope it's not to overworked bc I'm not confident in my digital rendering skills. :T
I might or might not post the next page on this very episode because I've recently found this bomb-ass 80s Darkwave Playlist:
United Ireland is a story based around the civil war in Ireland known as The Troubles. The story follows two Irish twins, Eileen and Sophie in their endeavors in both 1980s Ireland and New York.
United Ireland is the idea that Ireland and Northern Ireland can be one country; alas, if only they could get the Brits out.
(Please note that none of this is official yet, for the United Ireland graphic novel this is more of a draft before I finish doing all my research and finish the story)
If you would like to be immersed in the world and characters check out
