Sometimes it's only when you put on a disguise that you can be TRULY true to yourself. I went back and forth on whether to make the Compounds feel like concrete evolutions or Gundams but this choice has some story payoff down the road so it felt like an optimal option.
Also I love anytime Iodine makes an ears down confused face, they're the best.
