This is a new story I have recenlty gotten the passion for. Althought I have written many stories, this is the frist time that I will write with an omegaverse AU. I will stick to the primary rules that people are used to in an omegaverse, but I may throw in my own twists as I wish to make the story flow the way I want it to. With this being said, I plan to use primarly Omegas, Betas, and Alphas in this story, but I also plan to include Deltas and Gammas as the story progresses.
For readers that are unfamilar with Deltas and Gammas as they don't appear as often as the main trio, I will give a breif run down on what they are. Deltas are kind of like alphas, but still aren't as strong. The reason I say they are similar to alphas is that they are agressive and territorial just like alphas are. They can use pheromnones to attract omegas and the occosional beta; however, the delta's pheromones have no affect on alphas. Gammas are more like Omegas, but don't have heats. The reason they are similar to Omegas is due to their high maternal insticnts. However, they are compltely immune to the pheomones of alphas, deltas, and omegas. This means they cannot detect ruts or heats. Gammas are also scentless and lack the glands that make most of the pheromones that are used in an omegaverse. In additon to this, they are almost always infertile, but some have a small chance of becoming pregnant.
Now, I'm going to piss any reader off. This is not my main project and may not ever become one. Because of this, I will not update this as often as some people would like. My main novel is Missing Pieces, and it will be my primary focus until its completion. To add on to this, I am a college student, and I work, so I don't have a lot of free time. Most of my free time goes to studying, practicing my art, reading, and working on my main novel. In some cases, I use my free time to not think at all and just goof off all day long, so I don't actually accomplish anything on some of my free days. With all this being said, I do want to try and update at least once a month (and probably only once a month unless I'm feeling extra generous). The day I want to be my update day is going to be the first of every month. *update: I will be posting extra episodes on American holidays. Sorry to exclude the others, but I don't want to stress myself out by trying make every holiday a deadline.* *update: I've decided that I will do bonus episode for subscriber milestones for this novel.*
If you have made it this far in the introduction, thank you for taking the time to read through it. I hope you don't mind the limited updates, and I hope you enjoy the story. I always like recieving feedback on my work; this includes both postive and negative feedback. It's what makes me a better author. If you're intresting in keeping up with me, I sometimes post on my twitter @Fancy_Dreamer_. I also post a good bit of my art on my instagram @cries.alot.
One last note, if you haven't already started reading my novel Missing Pieces, it is on tapas, and I would appriciate it if you checked out my baby. As of right now, I have been working on it for a year and a half, and it has become so dear to me. *update: Missing Pieces is now complete, but that still doesn't make My Alpha Roommate my main novel. I have a second book in the works that will be the sequal to Missing Pieces, and this will be my main project as I still consider it part of Missing Pieces.*
Wow, you're writing an omegaverse BL~! So exciting! *jumps excitedly* Looking forward for this new story! I'm sooo curious QAQ
Edit: Are they half-human half-wolf? I saw your cover and they have tails and ears.
I knew there was going to be a lot of change when I decided to go to college, and I was ready for it. Or at least, I thought I was.
My mother had convinced me to room with someone I had never met before because she was good friends with his mother. I trusted that she would never do anything to harm me, but I'm began to think she'd lost her mind!
When I walked into my dorm room for the first time, my whole world was turned upside down as I looked at the alpha I would be sharing a room with. There was no way that this was going to end well. You can't just put an omega and an alpha in the same room unsupervised! Anything could happen!
