Right after Farn destroyed the giant flame boar know as Pyro hog, a magical beast that has an elemental affinity with fire. That creature is known as a magical beast, which is one of the miscellaneous races found in the world of Origo.
The magical beast species is a variant that came to existence after normal animals were exposed to mana's influence for a very long time, which resulted in mutations that created beings like the pyro hog. Some have elemental abilities while others are only stronger, more resistant, or faster than your normal animal.
-The day after-
In another of the multiple rooms present in the Silverheart mansion, Niel is listening to a tall and skinny man with white skin and long blond straight hair, that doesn't have a very noticeable physique, but a very sharp and well-lined face with long eyelashes.
"As you know, the art of elegance is one that all nobles must master. If you don't even have the posture of one, nobody would ever believe your nobility." The man looked at Niel with his head raised and had dissatisfied eyes as if what's in front of him wasn't good enough.
"I don't know about that, I still have the Silverheart emblem, my expensive clothes, and my tattoos... I'm pretty sure any of those are good enough proof." Niel rolled his eyes then raised his fingers as he pointed out those other factors to his identity as a noble.
"Argh... You could for once act as the heir of a county? What makes you so presumptuous towards your own teacher?" The man started rubbing his temples as he shook his head.
"It's not my fault I have the tattoos that say I'm a noble all over my body." Niel smirked as he pulled down the sleeve of his shirt to show the tattoos on his arm despite the ones present on his face.
"I told you those are called markings of the chosen! Not tatos or whatever you keep saying." The man explained with a tired look in his eyes.
The tattoos in Niel's body as well as the rest of his family, are known as markings of the chosen and they symbolize that this individual has been chosen by the gods as a [Given Apostle] candidate, meaning that if those people work towards serving the God that gave them those markings they are far more likely to be blessed by that God than others.
All the people who are born with these markings win at least the lowest ranking of nobility depending on which god blessed them and what their starting point is.
"As I explained before, only one in a million commoners get to be born with markings of the chosen, while noble families that already have the markings in their bloodline will have a chance of one in 500." The man continued shaking his head as he looked at Niel.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. People born with the tattoos become nobles if they already weren't and those who were might get a higher noble title depending on the situation." Niel didn't even try to seem interested in what the man said.
The man's eye starting twitching and he simply told Niel he's free to go today, to which Niel immediately agreed and left to the room to go to his room.
"Finally, I can practice mana manipulation again." Niel moved fast and went to his room to start his training again.
Niel sat on his bed and started meditating while he focused on the flow of mana on his body, then conducted it to each little point part equally maintaining that flow for as long as he can, so that each point of his body gets properly nurtured with mana and his ability to control it keeps improving.
After doing so for 2 hours, Niel was mentally exhausted as he laid on his bed for 10 minutes.
Then he got up from his bed and walked towards the mirror, and began undoing the buttons on his shirt, and removed it.
"What the hell?! I don't even exercise!" Looking at his own reflection on the mirror Niel couldn't contain his surprise seeing that his body, even though not as impressive as his father's since he's a child and his father is a monster, but any other child his age would lose to his abnormally rigged body at his age.
There's a six-pack and visible muscles on his body, and even if they are not as properly developed as they would be if he was older, it's still very easily noticed.
"Niel Tally Silverheart!!! Come here this instant!" A very loud shout could be heard throughout the mansion.
"Holy sh*t! She called me by my full name... I'm dead, I'm so dead... Was it the vase I accidentally broke last week? I told Sylvia to hide all the evidence!" Niel panicked she heard his whole name from his mother's mouth and started rethinking his lastest 'crime'.
Niel didn't lose any time and quickly put his shirt back on and ran towards the door of his room then he realized, he doesn't know exactly in which room his mother is.
"I'll be guiding you to Lady Elaina." Sylvia who was calmly standing there waiting for Niel explained to him.
"You didn't snitch, did you?" Niel asked looking at Sylvia.
"I don't know what you mean with that word. Where have you even learned that vocabulary young master?" Sylvia responded.
"I'm asking you if you told me off to mom, also I read books you know." Niel calmly replied.
"Oh I see, no I have not told Lady Elaina about her 37th favorite vase being destroyed by you... And I've never seen you in the library even once..." Sylvia looked at Niel with her right eyebrow raised.
"Ok, if you didn't, don't say it now... And I read in my room... Why should I spend my time in the library?" Niel continued following Sylvia and just answered.
"I believe it's unhealthy to spend as much time as the young master spends in his room, even Lord Silberheart, and Lady Elaina believe the same." Sylvia continued as she heard Niel's response.
"I'm fine, I go out of my room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, not even considering that now I have lessons to attend to." Just as Niel said, they reached the room where his mother is.
"Well, we've arrived. I wish you good luck young master." Sylvia smiled slightly as she stood next to the door as if guarding the room.
Niel nodded and went inside, he looked around and he remembered having been in this room a few times before. The same room where his mother complained about his life as a bad being too simple, or in better terms the Silverheart household's 5th guest room and Elaina's favorite out of the 7 that exist in the mansion.
"Sit here." Elaina ordered Niel as soon as he entered the room, to sit beside her.
He did as his mother said and sat right next to her, then he noticed that right in front of him is his teacher, mister Elandorr.
(So, it's this guy... Maybe I should have gone a little easier on him, but isn't he a little too weak... Even on earth teachers had it rougher.) Niel deduced what kind of trouble he's in seeing this man here.
"Niel, do you know why you're here?" Elaina inquired as she looked at Niel with an unsatisfied expression.
(Why do parents ask this? I could be here for a plethora of reasons so, which one exactly? Nope, I don't.) Niel couldn't help but think this as he heard his mother's question.
"Hum... No." Niel replied with a calm expression.
"Mister Elandorr here, told me that you have no respect for him or his lessons, never accept any of his corrections and prefer to stay wrong, respond to his every sentence, and never pay attention to his lesson. Is all that true?" Elaina has the aura and spiritual pressure that only a mother can have over their child, and even if Niel was as strong as his father he would still feel it.
"Yes, except for the part where I stay wrong, I just don't accept his corrections cause they are wrong. I mean, he told me that I can't be recognized as a noble without my posture today and yesterday said that I wouldn't be able to even think of manipulating mana until I'm 10... Also isn't he my etiquette and nobility teacher? Why is he talking about mana?" Niel started exposing his point of view on the situation.
"You see what I mean?! He has not a single bit of respect for my position as his teacher." Elandorr narrowed his eyes as he heard what Niel said.
"That maybe happens because you don't show him any respect either, you're his teacher but that doesn't give you the right to discard everything he says as wrong and proclaim yourself right. I understand it's abnormal for a child to know this much or to be like this, but Niel is special, so you should adapt to him as the teacher." Elaina explained to Elandorr then she turned to Niel and said. "Now you my son, I know that you're very smart and fast to catch up, but in the same way it doesn't make you all-knowing, so don't just reject everything mister Elandorr say and even if you think you're right, being rude to mister Elandorr is not going to help you." Elaina had the same mother aura talking to both.
"Now both of you apologize to each other for your wrongdoings." Elaina wasn't playing and none of them could say anything against it.
Both Niel and Elandorr apologized to each other and Elaina nodded then invited Elandorr for dinner, which he was unable to refuse.
After that Niel was once again called by his father to continue his warrior training.
