I wasn't lying when I said "I don't know" when asked if I would have shot Ashley. Not even Kaidan. My differences with them aside, they really could not have known. It's easy for us to say they should have known better when we had more information than they did but that's the danger of imperfect information - it can divide teams and units really easily. Fortunately with my first playthrough, I didn't have to choose. Turns out it's a good idea to check up on people in your life and always make time for maintaining relationships.
