“I can’t believe you messed everything up because of a SPIDER!” I scolded Jay, when mum left.

"You know I have arachnophobia! It's not my fault that someone asked me to get into a closet with a spider!" Jay screamed. 

"Oh, so I was supposed to know that there was a flipping spider in the closet. Yeah, because I have X-ray vision." 

"Ok but it was a dark closet that nobody had used for years. There were so many cobwebs too!"  

"Couldn't you have at least tried to cover your mouth before screaming.", 

"Gurl, I have ARACHNOPHOBIA. I will scream whether you like it or not!" 

"It's just a spider! It's not gonna eat you alive!" I groaned. Jay groaned back and walked into the guest room. He came back out with his suitcase. 

"I am leaving, with or without you! This is so stupid." Jay said, walking to the front door. He opened it and screamed. 

"What is it, another spider?! We might as well tell the whole neighbourhood that we're 'dating'-" I shouted, walking to the front door. Jaclyn stood there, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion. 

"Oh shit-" I cleared my throat, 

"Jaclyn! Hi!" I smiled.

"Are you two dating?" Jaclyn asked. 

"No, of course not!" Jay shouted out.

"We would never do such a thing. I meant we're fake dating. I mean, fake dating in front of our mum- It's a long story." I explained. 

"Ok- Well, I hope you guys are ready to go. We'll walk there. It's really not that far."

"Alright" I replied

We arrived at Jaclyn's house. It was cozy and nice but as soon I stepped inside, I was already missing my other house.

"It's not as big and nice like your other house but atleast it fits all of us." Jaclyn smiled. 

"It doesn't matter if it's big or small. Im just grateful that you are doing this for us." I said. 

"Oh my gosh, is that you, Mina?" Jay exclaimed. I turned around and saw a huge poster of me sitting on the wall.

"Oh my gosh it is." I muttered, walking up to the paining. 

"I did say I was a huge fan of Mina." Jaclyn said. 

"This is amazing! Ah look at my beautiful face! I miss being a girl." I cried, "Now I can look at myself everyday and it'll be like I'm looking at a mirror."

"Sure. Anyways… Kayla's room is on the left and… your name?" Jaclyn looked at me.

"Mina, you already know it?"

"I'm not gonna call you Mina." She objectified 

"Well you're going to have to because my name is Mina," I snapped back.

"Proof it then!"

"I was literally in Mina's house. Isn't that good enough. Oh my lord-" 

"After you two finish bickering, can we eat something. I'm starving." Jay asked. 

"Well, what do you want to eat?" Jaclyn asked.

"Crisps." Jay responded.

"Alright."

We all had a seat in the dining room. Jay was eating his crisps. 

"What do you want to know about Kayla? Jaclyn sighed. 

"Did she have a boyfriend?" I asked

"Why is this the first question you want to know?" 

"What, do you think I'm gonna try and date her if she doesn't have a boyfriend? Just tell me. You said you would tell me everything about Kayla." I said. 

"Ugh. No, she doesn't."

"Did she have an ex?" 

"No, she's never dated in her life… as far as I'm concerned."

"Really?" 

"Yeah. She wanted to finish uni before she did all that dating stuff." 

"Uni? As in university. How old is she?" I asked. 

"21" 

"Excuse me? I'm in the body of a 21 year old? What the-"

"Oh my gosh stop complaining Jay. I'm probably in the body of a 35 year old." I groaned. 

"If she's 21… how old are you?" Jay asked.

"22." 

"Are you sure she doesnt have a boyfriend or an ex? Most people date when they're in uni," I said. 

"I don't know, she was being a little weird and distant from me before she got kidnapped. But we had an important test coming up so I just thought she was a little nervous."

"Did anyone have a grudge against her?" I asked. 

"Er… I don't think so. She was pretty popular and nice so not many people hated her. But there was this one girl that didn't like Kayla. But that was in highschool. But why are you asking all of this?" 

"I wanna know what happened to Kayla." I explained. 

"You don't think she died, do you?" Jaclyn whimpered. 

"I'm not sure but I hope not." I replied and Jay put down his crisps.

"I don't wanna ruin any positive vibes but she's probably dead. I mean, the fact that I entered into her body means that she died. The perfume must have sent me into a dead persons body." Jay said, licking his fingers. 

"Jay!" I whispered and Jaclyn stood up. 

"So what happened to Kayla's body? What happened to your old body!?" She screamed. 

"I don't… know," Jay stuttered, nervously and Jaclyn grabbed him by the collar. 

"You little fuckers! WHERE IS KAYLA?!" She screamed. 

"LET GO OF ME JACLYN!" Jay screamed back. I sprung into action and started pulling Jaclyn off Jay.

"Jaclyn, let go!" I screamed before a doorbell rang. 

I let go of Jaclyn and Jaclyn let go of Jay. I walked to the door, "Who is it?!" 

"It's… Kayla."
