[This is merely an Author's Note.] Did you know that after you die, you will still be alive for seven minutes? And sometimes even longer than that?
Thirty seconds before you die, your life flashes before your eyes. And when you die, your brain will show you a timeline of your life- everything you've seen, everything you've experiened, everything you've felt will be seen, experienced, and felt by you once again.
Just kidding. Well, the first two sentences of the previous paragraph are correct and scientifically proven but the last sentence? Nah, that's all me.
Anyway...
During this whirlpool of a prologue we experienced together with Ari the moment she died, we are now going to accompany her as she navigates through her new life as Iris.
The moment Iris is born, the Point of View of the story will be hers unless stated otherwise. A little trivia, did you know that Chapters 1 to 3 were the original Prologue but was scrapped because let's be honest, those three chapters aren't meant to be compiled in one long chapter because there's too much jumps (the original was The Birth -> The Curse -> The Prophecy -> The Birth). For those asking why there are two prologues, they're significant to the "symbolism" of Iris' magic. Anyways, happy reading! Love, M.
When spoiled rich girl Ari's life ends, she finds herself reborn as Princess Iris in a fantasy world created by her childhood imaginary friend! But being a princess comes with being the last hope to remove an evil curse from the royal bloodline, which would be a lot easier if she hadn't inherited the most useless kind of magic in the world.
