Whew! The girls meet at last!
When writing this story it was important to me to have both Alice and Gem completely comfortable with their sexuality. Like, they really don’t care what people think – Probably because I personally prefer narratives where the conflict arises from something other than a character’s sexuality. In this case, Gem is a complex person who doesn't open up easily to new people for various reasons...
