Once the guys were gone, Janie, Rachel and Nian started laughing. Then Janie and Rachel started explaining the bet to Nian they made with the guys. Especially, Yint who agreed to date her since he liked her a lot.
'I can't believe you, Janie,' Nian said folding her arms.
Janie smirked, 'Just pretend with Yint for a while. Rachel really loves Fennell. She wants Yint's feelings for her to disappear.'
'What if it doesn't happen? What do I do then?' Nian asked.
Rachel replied, 'Trust me, I've never seen Yint look at another woman with such affection and love other than you, Nian. He likes you a lot.'
'Even I can see that. I think his feelings for Rachel are gone already since you came,' Janie commented with a giggle.
'So he likes me already?' Nian questioned with a hint of curiosity and happiness found in her voice as her cheeks flushed.
Rachel and Janie admitted boldly, 'Yes!' and chuckled at her smiley-surprise face.
'You like him, don't you, Nian? Cause he is a hot Asian cowboy, you're finally living in your fantasies now,' Janie teased.
Nian rolled her eyes with a blush, 'Think whatever you want, Janie. But I know I'm going to make him miserable.'
'So you agreed to date Yint?' Rachel smirked.
Nian nodded with a mischievous smile, 'Of course, I'm going to tame this fine-baby-face, cowboy' and she high-fived the girls as she laughed.
Upstairs, the guys were still chuckling at Yint who had a packet of frozen green beans on his nuts.
'Will you shut up already?' Yint yelled furiously as he groaned.
Fennell laughed, 'No' and then wiggled his legs.
'Don't mind that moron,' Jason said. 'How are you going to get her back?'
Yint gritted his teeth, 'We're going to a shared room and I'll get started from there with red hair dye. I'm going to make her life a living nightmare.'
'Flirt, no wait, dye till you drop,' Fennell quipped laughing.
Jason smirked at his joke and thought aloud, 'Can't wait to make Janie drop.'
'You think we can finally score a marriage football in the bag with these hot-tempered women?' Yint asked.
Fennell shrugged, 'If the Lord allows it then yeah. Cause I want to marry, Rachel since I have Jason's blessing' and pocked out the engagement ring with a stunning diamond on it.
'Damn! You spent all your savings on that ring?' Jason asked surprisingly.
'She's worth every penny in my piggy bank and maybe more,' Fennell blushed and faced Yint who wasn't jealous or disappointed anymore but approved of his best friend's decision.
Yint smiled, 'I'm giving you my blessing too, Nell. I'm sorry for always being in the way of you two love birds. The Lord can see you love her' and then saw Fennell smiling widely.
'Thanks, Yint,' Fennell smiled.
Jason added, 'Let the real game begin, guys.'
'Yeah,' they answered.
Later on, in the afternoon everyone was separated into pairs. Out in the fields, Jason let out the horses for exercise and to remember the feeling of being in the wild, running free without a time limit. Janie stood underneath a shaded tree watching Jason do a fine job rounding up the horses into teams, signaled by a signature whistle. She admired looking at him smiled feeling the air pushing past him, speeding with Survival like they broke the sound barrier. Being among the unique horses, a cowboy in control of a herd, reminded Janie of a brilliant painting.
'I wonder what it feels like to ride a horse like that,' Janie muttered with fascination.
She saw Jason riding toward her with another horse that has checker brown and white patterns.
'Hey! Do you want to ride with me?' He offered, stopping at her side.
Janie looked at the brown and white horse. She liked the beautiful creature and patted her gently, 'Uh? What?' She stared at him in disbelief and thought, 'Is trying to make me make a fool out of myself again?' and then she gazed at the horse as she smiled, 'No, thanks, Jason.'
'Her name is Brownie Waffles,' Jason introduced.
Janie laughed, 'Sounds yummy' and Jason smiled.
'I had her since I was seven years old,' Jason explained. 'She loves brownies especially the hash brownies,' he smirked.
Janie's mouth dropped as she watched him, 'You give your horse cannabis...?'
Jason lied and said that just to see her reaction as he laughed, 'Not really, I'm joking' and then added, 'Brownie won't hurt you unless you smell like a real baked chocolaty brownie.'
'Seriously,' Janie fake laughed rolling her eyes and admitted, 'I don't know how to ride, Jason.'
Jason smiled, 'I'll teach you.'
'Huh? You don't have to. I like my feet firmly on the ground,' Janie said nervously.
Jason saw her eyes grew with fear, 'Come on now, it won't be that bad' and leaped off Survival approaching her.
'With you teaching me? I think I'll pass,' Janie replied.
Then he grabbed her by her waist, 'What are you doing now?' Janie asked and Jason pulled her closer to him and leaned forward.
'Shush, you'll scare her away,' he whispered.
Janie jumped a little by his sudden action and thought, 'Oh my gosh, he's too close!' as she continued to listen to him.
'Earn her trust again,' he said and held Janie's hand with his, rubbing it lightly against Brownie's neck and then the mane. While she nodded her head agreeing for Janie to ride her, 'She's going to let you ride her, Janie.'
Janie looked back at him, 'Really, how do you know that?'
'She told me so just with a simple head nod,' Jason said and lifted Janie, placing her onto the saddled horse gently.
Janie gulped and held onto the straps, 'Jason, I can't do this.'
'Yes, you can, remember you and Brownie are one,' Jason said.
Janie laughed, 'Who are you? Master Yoda?'
'I'm a Star Trek fan but yeah. But I'm much younger and cooler,' Jason teased.
Janie blushed with a chuckle, 'Yeah right, old man...' and anchored her feet and tapped the horse with her heel as it rode off speedily. 'Jason........!!!!!!! Get me off, Brownie....!' she screamed.
'Apologise, first!' Jason yelled hopping onto Survival as he laughed watching her go on a wild adventure with Brownie who seems like a tour guide being chased by bears.
Janie cried out loudly, 'Jason save me! Or else I won't bake you sweet potato pie!'
'I rather lemon cream pie!' Jason simpered with a chuckle.
He charged after her since Brownie was heading straight into the trout pond before he could whistle.
Janie screamed, 'Jason!' and flew off Brownie falling into the trout pond.
'Not again!' Jason trailed off and Survival ran faster as he prepared himself and then jumped off his horse into the pond to rescue Janie. Swimming up to the surface for a breath with her at his side, she coughed out water and started hitting his chest. 'Hey! Hey! Hey! Stop it! I save your damn life! Will you stop and say a thank you already?' and he saw her pause in the act
Janie stared at him with watery eyes, 'I'm sorry...' and tears started flowing.
Jason thought, 'Oh no, not the waterworks I don't own a water company to manage this' and then it started raining, 'Seriously rain' and sighed looking at her, 'Please don't cry, I'm sorry I overacted' and pulled into her embrace.
