Even in the best case scenario of lowering the gas emissions to a minimum, the sea levels are projected to rise by 0,3 meters (one foot) by 2100.
The worst case scenario? 2,5m (8,2 feet).
As a side note - after the first world war, in 1920 in Puck, Poland married the Baltic Sea as a symbolic gesture of recovering the lands that they previously lost.
Today Poland, being one of the most homophobic country in Europe, doesn't allow same sex marriages, because they would ruin the symbolic purity of the institution of marriage, a shindig exclusive to a pair of a man and a woman.
