and then that lazer gun is going to crash through the very thin crust causing a HUGE sink hole to cave in and the pup and alien to be stranded inside a cave where they have an amazing flashback session as to why they turned to thievery and then they become best friends and get rescued by the rest of the crew and go travel space together as the best space pirates ever. *head cannon over*
