B____, M____ and C_______ are descended from a long line of ‘Evolvents’, beings who are next step of the human races’ evolution where they develop unique abilities. In simple terms, their family has secret super powers/evolves. Or rather, just one in particular, with the occasional bonus ones. The ability to ‘jump’ from one place to another, teleportation but stronger. The jump portals allow the person to travel from one reality to another. The Evolvent and/or Jump gene is passed down throughout their family, along with the secret of their abilities and other dimensions. Since this is a power with a huge responsibility, the eldest family member with the gene has the duty to protect the family and their realities from dangerous threats. B and M (twins but B was born first) have gotten the J-gene but C hasn’t. Their father is an American scientist with intellect on a whole other level while their mother is a South American lab assistant. Their father is the current Jumper and will pass the role onto B when she turns 18.
So, here we go with the good stuff.
The father (still working on a name for him and my brain is just shouting “Arcade” for some reason) and mother (gonna call her Cruz) work at a lab sciencey place iforgettheword called IMPACT which is a company dedicated to the research and solutions for most disabilities. IMPACT recently discovered 4 unearthly microchips which, after further studying, they deduced could help power the right prosthetics and implants to fully remove any ailments and disabilities. Being a stereotypical research lab, they keep it under wraps.
The dad, Cruz and the department they lead were put in charge of the experimentation and development of the microchips. The microchips have a strange ‘artificial’ sentience they discover and call them V.I.R.O’s, ‘Viral Intergrating Robotic Organisms’ (still working on the Acronym). The more they discover about the VIRO’s and their purpose for experimental and highly unsafe devices and military grade implants, the more the parents start to worry about who they really work for.
