Mauve had returned to Velli. He was repeating what he was going to tell queen Malicia while he walked down the corridor. As he walked into the throne room, the queen awaited. Malicia was impatient, tapping her fingernails on the arm of her chair.  

“I-I apologize my queen,” Mauve stuttered.

Malicia glared at him. 

“The null orb has been destroyed,” he gulped.

Malicia’s eyes burnt with fury. Mauve stayed silent. He certainly did not want to tell her he was the one who destroyed it. Cold sweat ran down his forehead. The queen was unpredictable. No one knew what she could do when she was in an unstable mood. 

“The null orb has been destroyed?!” she raged.

Malicia stood up and clenched her fists. She could not contain her rage. Mauve cowered.

“P-please, forgive me my queen,” Mauve stuttered. “T-t-there was the serial killer Monstro lurking in Traal. A-and the null orb killed a man. I-I-I could not do anything.”

“Get out of my sight!” shouted Malicia.

Mauve bowed clumsily and quickly headed for the door. He closed it swiftly and pressed his back against it. His heart was racing. The guards eyed him bizarrely. He was lucky she did not send him to jail.
