Not necessarily a bad experience, since I never got my hair dyed. I don't know if Asian parents are the only ones who so this but we do critically examine the hair after and critique the hairdresser's skill. Like 'ah this side isn't even and they shaved too much here.' I am never adventurous with my hair... -Jade
