Accents can make you travel a lot around the world, but they can also be a bit annoying. Anyone with this experience? Pseudo accent syndrome?

Yep! Been there. I have a slight Spanish accent but not strong enough to give my original nationality away and it drives English speakers nuts not to be able to place my accent! I’ve been asked often if I am French Canadian! :-)
