Happy New Year! I'd be lying if I said I'm glad that I stayed up until the next year. I'm so tired, I can only see out of one eye. The fireworks were so pretty, but I was falling asleep halfway through the show. Frick this, I'm going to bed.

Ugh, my mom woke me up so that we could go to my OTHER great-grandma's house. I just want to sleep T_T My head hurts and the sun is too bright. I think I'll just take a nap on the way there.

Damn, this is like, the second entry today. Oh wait, the third entry. Apparently I can't math today. Or English. I think I'm just too tired to write today. There wasn't really anything eventful, anways, so I'll just do this quickly and then take a 12-hour nap.
Since my great-grandma is Japanese, we got to have お雑煮 (o zōni) which translates to New Year's dish. Basically, it's miso soup with mochi, and is considered as an auspicious food to eat on New Year's. It tastes like rainbows and unicorns (what am I even saying anymore).
We played 花札 (Hanafuda) which is a Japanese matching card game. I'm pretty good at it, if I say so myself. Unfortunately, my great-grandma rules this game with an iron fist, and I lost three times in a row. I blame my lack of sleep.
And we got to use sparklers! Those are my favorite kind of fireworks because you can just hold onto them and they look so pretty. I actually had a bad experience with them once. One of the sparks landed on my toe and I got burned. Of course, this was all when I was younger, so it's okay to say that I cried a bit.
All in all, a very laid-back day. I think I'm going to go to sleep now. I'm just rambling at this point.
We have now entered 2018! Feels a bit like time-traveling, eh? 2018 is going to be a bit of a ride, I can tell you that :) Yes, our MC is part Japanese, among other things. Half Japanese, to be exact. Does that make her a hāfu? Damn, I'm really dropping all these Japanese terms. Oh, I forgot that I also mentioned she's part Filipino, too. I think it was a couple episodes back? Anyways, stay tuned lovelies and toodles <3
Think this is a normal love story? Think again.
A teenage girl has met a boy named Kaleb, who she thinks is her soulmate, and writes down everything she wants to tell him in her journal over the years. Unfortunately, he doesn't feel the same way as she does. As time passes, will she find the love she is looking for?
Updates every Wednesday and Saturday at 5 pm PST (hopefully)
