Heya everyone! So I've been meaning to write this story for ages and actually started as you can see, but it is exam season so I've been busy crying... *ahem* Well, you see, videoproduction and marketing is not to be taken lightly. However, I would very much like to give a brief explanation before we get on with Chapter 2.
So as you can see, I made the story First person Present tense. (If that is the correct way to say that.) And that results in lines like "I would rather not see him right now, but alas. I decide to walk out of the canteen to get some fresh air, but to my surpise the very person I tried to avoid is standing right at the door." A bit awkward and a lot of people are not used to it, cause we usually read in Past tense. "I did not want to see him at that moment, but alas. I decided to walk out of the canteen to get some fresh air, but to my surprise, the very person I tried to avoid was standing right at the door." Seems to not be that different but in a whole story it is huge. I admit even I used to write in Past Tense, so changing that was tricky. This stylistic decision was made to emphasise the story unfolding itself infront of you. I decided to write it in perspective of the characters so we can all live through their eyes. You need to feel the akwardness and struggle they feel. The feeling of separation, cause they don't know each other yet, before merging them together. Instead of saying "Eito why did you not-" You can say "Eito please don't-" lol. This seems to be influenced by my love of online comics. I had to change a lot of text to get it consistent, so bear with me here. When the characters are more comfortable with each other I think I will eventually move back to Past Tense. So I don't have to worry about perspectives and you don't either.
Fun fact! This was meant to be a manuscript story for my comic but I was not able to draw for a LOOOOONG time so I think I rather write it first and then see If I can draw some scenes and add it in.
Oh and another important thing. The names are Japanese, but I am not saying the whole story is exclusively Japanese. I would feel weird writing a story about Japanese Highschool Guys... It is affected by my love for the country though... The city they live in is a multicultural city... More on that later.
A bullied Student council president and a closeted celebrity meeting each other at school. What are the odds?
Haru Tomisaki, 18, in his 3rd year of high school. A complete loner. He doesn't have friends and only works with people once they force him for a group project or PE exercise...
However he hasn't always been like this. He and his best friend Mira used to be the most popular duo at school. But after falling out in a terrible way, everything turned sour. Will his school life be hell forever? Or will a new classmate change his life?

I update if I have time.
Also I am not that good at drawing, but I'll work on a better cover photo soon. Stay tuned!
