Episode one: “what is that?”
It was a normal Monday morning in school as the  morning announcements came on over the intercom, it was just your usual pledge of allegiance, soccer meet up dates, who won last night's international sports game, and the “have a wonderful day” or “let's go krakens!” at the end. I carried out my classes like normal and during lunch i chatted with my friends. “Hey, did you hear about that new game that's coming out?” said bret. “i heard it's gonna come out soon and some parts of it were based on our town!” exclaimed jess. i put down my sandwich and looked at them “really?That seems cool,what's the game about?” bret looked at me in disbelief “you haven't seen the trailer yet? hold on lemme show you” he pulls out his laptop from his bag and types into the search engine. “here look”  he turns the screen towards me and i read the title allowed “the walking dead: michonne? so its a zombie game” he nodded his head and said “watch the vid already lunch is about to end!” I rolled my eyes and tapped the spacebar to start the video,nothing happened. “hey i think the internet went down on your computer dude,cuz the videos’ not playing” I hand the laptop back and he groans “ugh it had full bars just a second ago why is it only on one now!?”  me and jess snicker and both say “thats school internet for ya”,  “jinx! you owe me a soda emi!”  “Dangit, I'll get it to you tomorrow ok?” “you better, I've been dying for some caffeine. my mom doesn't buy soda any more and has only allowed me to drink water or fruit smoothies' ', “well thats sad”  said bret, “soda tastes great”. The intercom sounded and relayed the following message ~”may Emily blight please report to the office, she is having an early dismissal”~, i get up with my bag and wave goodbye to my friends and head toward the office, and theres' my mom standing in the doorway “did you have a nice day?” she says as i walk up to her. “yep”, “thats nice, also by the way were going to the hospital to get myself a shot for this new stomach bug whatever that's coming around and making people lose their minds''  , i looked to her as we rounded the corner and out the door of the building “do i need to get one too? because you know how i am with needles ``''no i think it's only for adults my age...” we make it to the car and she starts driving. the radio turns on as we enter the intrastate, *this is not a drill there has been a large outbreak of the newly discovered stomach bug, we fear that it has gotten stronger and has mutated into a virus,the previous intravenous fluid or “cure” related to this has been compromised and should not be taken for this is making it worse and in some cases it has  made the person who has taken the injection… do not approach…. stay…. indoors…* The radio only produced static after that. “what in the world..?” My mom slows the car,and  I look out at the hospital that was in the distance. and back to the road and there I see a cluster of dark figures in the distance, “ mom, what is that?”.
