I looked into it. For the past week I spied on my parents, spied on other kids, spied on other kids parents, and tried to ask nonchalant questions. I wish Min-Chul was still here. Now I know what's going on. A little eensy weensy teeny weeny bit. ?=I don't know
Facts:
1. Pretty sure that we attacked ?
2. I don't think it's a war.
3. A lot of people are going to the military. (By choice or not?)
4. I'm scared and I want to hide and cry.
Stuff That Aren't Facts:
1. People are busy and whispering a lot.
2. So are the kids.
3. And MY parents.
4. People aren't telling me anything.
5. I think we attacked ? for no reason.
6. Who did we attack?
7. I want to know!
Okay, time to interrogate my parents.
I walked confidently to my parents and said quickly, "MOM, DAD! Tell me, why did we attack someplace? Tell me the truth!!! I NEED TO KNOW!" Mother looked startled, then she said, carefully, "Where did you hear this?" "MOTHER! I can tell when people are keeping a secret! Why are you lying? Tell me!" Father bit his lip and replied, "You don't need to know. It isn't important." "Oh yeah? Tell me!!!" Father looked at Mother then sighed LOUDLY and then finally started to talk. "Well...we attacked a country," "Uh huh?" "South Korea." I screamed, "WHAT!!!??? Aren't we technically Korea too? We were all a country once! Why are we attacking? TELL ME!!!" He calmly said, "I don't know. But, you shouldn't know this. Now, go play with Chul-Soo." "NO!" I retorted. "NEVER!" and I ran up the stairs and slammed my door.
