Mary grab's her wheelchair. She stares out her window, and hears the wind howl like a lonesome wolf. It was snowing outside, and Mary noticed. She swerved out of her room and rolled to the elevator. She grabbed her red coat and rolled outside to the courtyard, which looked like it was covered in fluffy white marshmallows. She whiffed the air that smelled like dew after a rainy day. Mary was so happy she forgot her legs were shattered and tried to jump onto the snow. She fell headfirst into the snow and couldn't get up.
Meisa dashed outside in her nightgown. "MARY!" shouted Meisa. "HAVE YOU FORGOTTON? YOUR LEGS ARE LIKE JELL-O." Meisa rushed Mary inside and sighed. "You know you are also blind, you can't move around everywhere thinking you'll find where your going easily." Mary's face was all red from the cold, but also from anger. "I just wanted to go outside, to the front garden, the courtyard, even to the lake." Meisa started yelling at Mary. "I NEVER ALLOWED YOU TO GO ANYWHERE OUTSIDE!"
"Your not my mom Meisa. Stop acting like it, I am 14 years old now. I can take care of myself, I've been trying to navigate through the house alone. I'm not the little baby I used to be."
Meisa's eyes went wide and she angrily stomped away.
