I love the third panel, must be the combination of layout + coloring... plus Emiko's expression looking upwards (at "the world"?). I don't know why, but she stands out more in this strip. Probably because she doesn't appear constantly über-chirpy and joyful, but at the same she's still herself. It's nice to see this other side of her, just like Oscar*. Besides, she may be "slow" in her reasonings, but it seems that being in that family has made her less innocent that she looks like XD - it's amusing to see her actually being so nonchalant about her adoptive father doing "scams all the time".
*As for Oscar, it's also pretty interesting to see him, the most cynical member of the family, actually caring about the environment and seriously worrying about what Baxter and Murphy are doing against it. Although, Oscar, you could set an example by not smoking that much, mate XD (but I guess old habits die hard, etc.).
