I was listening to my music at work a while ago, and I seemed to have upset one of my coworkers with my musical choices. My coworker was mad that I was listening to an "old" song and told me that I should listen to more recent Rap and R&B tracks that my other coworkers listen to. Those who know me personally know that I listen to a wide range of music. K-pop, Alternative Rock, Old Skool, R&B Jazz, Techno, Showtunes, etc....If it sounds/feels good to me, I'm all for it.

However, most of the more recent Rap and R&B songs I've heard have been pretty upsetting to me in terms of their "messages". So I rarely listen to them. Simple as that. I just found it odd that my coworker would say that to me. It actually hit a little close to home. Sometimes my mom would sometimes have me play my music in front of other family members just so she could get them ridicule me. Like, it was so amusing to them that I didn't like one set group of music; That I didn't fit into the mold.

But after the years, I just decided not to let it get to me. Hell, I played my music louder. Listen to whatever you wan't. Live how you wish and don't let people try to mold you. There will always be people who try...But it's fine. People like that are irrelevant ( which is why I didn't bother designing them further in this comic lol)
