In 1896 the Garisons had their first son Charles Le'Afant Garison. Meisa was right there with them. 

Her pay before Charles was born was around five dollars, but slowly it went down to forty cents. Meisa didn't mind because she knew they just had a Child. But a few months turned into years and at one point, she wasn't getting paid at all. 

Eventually Charles moved out and paid Meisa enough for her to leave Charlie and his wife. 

Charles found a wife and had many children. 

Wednesday December 7th, 1941.

Meisa was cleaning the foyer when all of a sudden there was a crash noise from the backdoor. She went to investigate and saw three large Men with bats, hammers and knives. She was tied to the pole in the foyer. She struggled to get free but she was tied in a tight knot. 

About 30mins later the Garisons came in the home and the robbers immediately attacked the parents and then the kids. Mary survived by a miracle.
