The mermaid was gone, and I was all alone in the water yet again. It began to feel like I had just repeated the same experience as last time. I hadn't really gained anything. As I make my way back to shore, I think about all the information I've gathered up until now. There wasn't much, but I feel like I'm missing something. The only information I had so far is that something is wrong with the water. It became dark and grayish. Just a few weeks ago, fog appeared and covered everything like a thick blanket. I had just learned that this golden-haired mermaid needed help of some sort. I had no idea why she needed help or what was going on though. I have practically nothing to go off of. I start feeling discouraged.
Just as I start to turn back to shore, the mermaid pops out of the water again. Immediately after, a second mermaid appears. This one has pale blue eyes, and fiery red hair. Her hair is much shorter than that of the first mermaid. The wavy strands only go down to her shoulders before stopping. In a begging voice she says "Please help us, human,"
