The clouds finally cleared out and the light from the full moon illuminated the jungle “Enough” said a voice laughing. In the cliff there was the shadow who was actually Mictlan pushing a jaguar off her while she was on the ground, “If you did as I told you, you wouldn’t have been attacked”. The animal said as he backed up not before hitting her face with his tail “Come on, you know I can't sleep at night” Mictlan said as she sat at the cliff looking over the jungle.
With the round moon at the horizon “Well then ask your parents to tell you a story, don’t come here bothering us” the jaguar stated as he climbed a small tree besides Mictlan “You raised me to not sleep at night, I’m sorry but this is YOUR responsibility” “Now you blame me? After I saved you and raised you, even if it wasn’t my business” “Yes” Mictlan said with a big smile on her face, but the jaguar just looked away “you came all the way here all those years ago just to make sure I was safe, you have to like me just a little” she continued “Well I don’t dislike you more than the others” he said coming down the tree and sitting beside Mictlan as she said “Good enough for me, you tell me a story then” the jaguar just sighed “Fine, I was never able to win against you”. The jaguar started telling one of the many stories he knew with his many years on Tlali as the night grew deeper.
Mictlan is the reincarnation of the god of death. In this new world, where magic roams everywhere, she's not well-received but no one dares to say anything to her face. A darkness coming from an unknown region starts to disturb the peace in the land and the last person everyone thought could help was the only one that took a step forward.
Still with a heavy heart but strong conviction Mictlan goes to the front lines, risking not only her life but her soul, fighting the shadows and liberating the world. That is until greed takes over those closest to her and the question prevails, is darkness truly the enemy?
