How to put this... The art improves as you go. And yes it leaves much to be desired, but you won't get there if you quit. You'll get there if you persevere. To me, it seems you are doing exactly that. When you're feeling like it's hopeless, just remember that even some of the best weren't always the best. Heck, your drawing is better than mine used to be. But that was 20 years ago. And about the views and such... people will judge your work visually because it's a visual media. Those who don't give it a chance will miss on some great humour, charming characters and amazing dialogue. Snappy, vivid, funny, natural. The dialogue is written as if it was your second nature. You LIVE your story when you write it and I can SEE that clear as day. So let me tell you this: people who judge your comic based on art direction are the same people who won't play Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Undertale and Final Fantasy 7 because they "look ugly". Those people suck. I'm not drawing my amazeballs panels to impress THOSE people. I don't care if they read my comic. I make my art like I do because that's how I wanted it to look. I wasn't always happy with it, butI reached it trough perseverance. I practiced, studied, asked for feedback, learned to accept the criticism. Learned who to listen and who to ignore. And so will you. If I didn't believe you can do it, I wouldn't write this.
