“Alright, are we all ready to go?” I asked the lot. I had brought 5 of our best trackers and 5 of our best warriors together to find my mate. I needed her, or else my wolf would drive me insane.
‘You already are insane. I’ll just drive you further into insanity,’ Axel growled. I blocked the idiot out so I can focus. A chorus of ‘Yes alpha’s rang out from the group in response to my question.
“Alright, we’ll start looking as soon as Oliver-”
“No! This must be a travesty! We are speaking to your alpha!” A low voice growled, interrupting me. I turned to see Alpha Roland and Alpha Zane with their beta’s standing close by. “Tell us what we are hearing from your beta isn’t true.” Alpha Roland sent me a glare that would send normal wolves running.
“That my mate-”
“Is a rogue,” Alpha Zane spat, cutting me off. His long, golden hair was in a disheveled state, which is quite out of character for him. He normally cares more about his hair than his pack.
“Yes, she is,” I stated. “Now you need to leave while I go searching for her.”
“And you're going to throw it into the dungeons I assume.”
‘Kill him,’ Axel commanded.
‘What the fuck? No, I will not start a war because he insulted her.’
‘Why not?’
‘And you call me stupid.’
‘You are. Now hurry up and kill him.’
‘I’m not going to commit murder.'
‘Coward.’
“By it, you mean she right?” Oliver's nervous chuckle brought me back to reality.
“No, I mean it.” Alpha Zane glared at my beta.
“If you do not leave now, I will do something I won’t regret,” I said through gritted teeth, still fighting Axel for control.
“Why? We came here to make an alliance not to be sent away.”
“We can make an alliance with you another day. Right now I need to find my mate and Luna.”
“Don’t tell me you’re taking that thing as your Luna.” Alpha Zane growled, his stern hazel eyes glaring daggers at me.
“She isn’t a thing, she’s a werewolf just like you and me. I am going to make her my Luna,” I tried to reason with him.
“I will not let you do that.” He made a futile attempt to use his Alpha tone on me, which I ignored.
“You don’t have enough power to stop me, nor will you ever.”
“Well then, I refuse to make any alliances with you and your rogue,” He snapped. I stared at him for a split second before bursting out into laughter. I probably looked crazy.
“I don’t need an alliance with you, you need one with me,” I snickered, turning to Alpha Roland. “Would you also like to cancel our alliance?” I asked, despite knowing the answer. Out of all alphas, his hatred for rogues is greatest.
“No, I’ll just need time to rethink the terms of the deal. Maybe even rewrite some of it,” Alpha Roland responded after thinking for a few minutes. His answer surprised everyone, including his beta.
“Are you mad?!” Alpha Zane hollered. “Don’t you remember what they did to Janet and Jackson-” In the blink of an eye, Alpha Roland threw him against a tree.
“Don’t you dare say my parents’ names. You are not worthy of that. I will tear your head right off your shoulders if you try to bring them up again.” His voice came out completely calm. There was not a trace of anger to be found.
“Janet and Jackson would be ashamed of-” Alpha Roland grabbed Alpha Zane’s throat, stopping him from the sentence.
“Hey, hey, hey everyone! I think we all need to take a break from this drama to collect our thoughts. We can go back to the pack house and discuss this further if necessary.” Much to the displeasure of Axel, Oliver began de-escalating the situation.
“No, I’ll be going back to my pack. I just have one request of Alpha Carter.” Alpha Roland reluctantly released Alpha Zane and turned to me. “Before she becomes Luna, make her go through the Luna Trials.”
“Why?” The Luna Trials were used before the Moon Goddess and mates existed. Female wolves would volunteer to go through a series of trials to prove themselves worthy of a mate. The most applied for, well-known, and dangerous of these trials was the Luna Trials. Every unmated she-wolf volunteered to get this position. Back then love didn’t exist, only survival did. Of course, the Moon Goddess changed everything and created what we now know as love.
“She is a rogue, she doesn’t know what it takes anymore to a part of a pack. Let alone how to lead one.” I wanted to argue with him, but his point made sense. She will have to face the Luna Trials.
Right now it's kind of hard to update because I'm trying to find a new therapist. I'll try to update again on Wednesday, or earlier to start making up for it. Love you all!
We've all heard stories of rogues who are "wild", but what about rogues who are completely feral? Rogues who are more wolf than human. Wild isn't a strong enough word to describe Sirena Rhea. She was abandoned in the woods as a child, and had never heard of mates before. The only thing she grew up knowing was survival of the fittest. So what happens when the moon goddess pairs up the savage girl with a tamed, prideful alpha? Well, let's just say it isn't pretty...
!Warning, graphic and violent language. Sample of what it looks like below \/!
"Why are you attacking me?! I'm your mate!" He growled. Aggression, I could sense it in his voice. If I don't kill him now, he'll kill me. I catapulted him off, making his body hit the ground with a thrilling thud. Without hesitation, I got on top of the man and tore into his stomach. I didn't want to waste my energy, so I left him there to die. I forgot about him, until he came back and locked me away in a cage...
