Part 1: The prisoners.
The young golden commander inquired about Rouge's arrival to that lost and forgotten corner, but the girl did not know how to explain to her captor that she had lost her memories.
-My name is Goethe Greyskies, lieutenant colonel of the battalion "Hunters of evil" of the second army of the king. They are under my authority and for the glory of our lord, two hundred golden soldiers of God. - The potentate sayed - Now tell me, who are you?
-I am Rouge Vermelha, born from this land, somewhere I do not remember, and I only have what you see. - the girl replied.
*Rougue Vermelha, born from this land.
That answer upset Lieutenant Colonel Goethe Greyskies, who liked a lot of clarity on matters, especially of lineage, provenance and faith, as was the custom in the kingdom.
"Is it possible to have a clear answer from your little mouth?" The combat prior, Elohí Amber, rebuked. -Where you came from?
"I remember the moment when Goethe looked at me in the waterfall," Rouge replied.
-Your Honor! His honor is said because he is a Viscount! He is also one of the few warriors who have reached the level of a holy soldier of God.- Elohí demanded, while Goethe watched her surprised.
And it is that the girl in question wore and wore jewelry that was not easy to find in the kingdom. Finally, and given the refusal of the miss to speak, she was taken to the side of the prisoners but without chains.
Manuhell Baldovo looked up and Rouge's eyes remained fixed on his mind. Manuhell, offered him a loaf of dry bread. She without any repudiation took it in her hands and devoured it.
"He must not be more than 16 years old," Manuhell said. Perhaps it was possible that this girl is from the Republic of Bravía. In that country of the continental area they rebelled in 1194, (20 years ago) and expelled the Potentate Church. It could be that among the many believers who fled from the mainland to the island, there was the family of the girl named Rouge.
But despite multiple attempts to find out something specific about the beautiful girl, they only got her name.
"She's bewitched" said the other prisoner, chewing on his loaf of bread.
-Damn, is a term used by the uneducated for unknown problems- Manuhell exclaimed, making a gesture of annoyance.
Pagans tend to see life in a simple way without asking too much about the why of things. But Manuhell Baldovo was different, he used to question, recognize and verify concepts. It made him very happy to have a female company and he really felt very lucky because at 30 years old, he was in the prime of his youth and he had a lot of time that such a pretty girl did not see.
-Our lands were conquered by Goethe Greyskies, the smug blond who was interviewing you and is holding us prisoner. But I have a plan.- Manuhell whispered.
The friends of Mr. Manuhell Baldovo were very well positioned before the Mar-Mortem regent of the "Domain of the waterfalls", there they waited for Manuhell and his soldiers to arrive at the "Villa of the waterfalls" to join in battle against the Sacred Kingdom of Granheim.
Goethe Greyskies only had 200 soldiers, while the "Domain of the waterfalls" had 500 troops among warriors, volunteers and pagan priests, as well as the elite force of the "trident of the domain". To that should be added about 500 knights and soldiers of the so-called "guard of the savannah" who remained waiting for the orders of Baldovo.
*Elohí Amber, Warrior prior of first level.
Manuhell Baldovo's plan was simple but accurate, Rouge thought. Still, why did Goethe Greyskies take prisoner?
-Because I was drunk ...
-¿Drunk?
The most important man in the entire rebellion was drinking after executing the Prior Master of the savannah in his own home. In the main temple was the revelry. Manuhell, invited women of dubious reputation to celebrate liberation. Several barrels of brandy were emptied over a baptismal pool to start the celebration. In the main room of the temple, where the altar was, there were cushions to fornicate before all the assistants. Just behind the altar was the chair of the Master with the head of the same. There, two days of celebration later, Goethe Greyskies' potentates found the self-styled "Liberator", drunk, half-naked and surrounded by the aforementioned women.
-Hahahaha, Manu… it's a very silly way to be taken prisoner.
"At least I know why I'm in jail, Rouge."
