Despite being born in the US, I spent most of my childhood in Indonesia, so my first language was Bahasa Indonesia. When I returned to the States, it was difficult for me to adapt to the new language. I learn pretty quickly, though, and I'm still learning! Did you have to learn a new primary language when you grow up?

Not really, for me it was the other way around. My father was born in France so I was exposed to it from early age, so it's actually secondary. But hey! It helped me and still does with my studies :)
