It's lunch when I eat it for lunch

I remember back in college.... whenever we'd have community service, I would pack two sandwiches for my lunch. And every lunch time, my classmates and group adviser would always comment that my sandwiches were not food that I should eat for lunch.
But in my defence, well... it's MY lunch! Right? It's lunch, right?
