Part 2: The ruler of the waterfalls.

It was known as the "Domain of the waterfalls". That territory that began when the savannas gave way to the numerous low-lying mountains, between the banks of "Holy River" to the north and the Indigo River to the south. On the west side it was bordered by the snow-capped mountains of the Atrium belonging to the Sacred Kingdom of Granheim. It was a territory full of multiple streams and streams that came down from the mountains and embellished the landscape with many waterfalls.

In this territory, the Mar-Mortem family dominated, who are descendants of the emperors of the native people considered the most advanced on the island before the arrival of the potentates. Before the arrival of the conquerors, the Mar-Mortem´s family subdued and subjugated much of the north of the island. They had a pagan faith that worshiped the lunar goddess and what related to death. Many demonic beasts, demi-beasts, and demi-humans were slain by the potentates upon their arrival. But to avoid extinction and accept that demi-human beasts like elves and could live, a high tribute is paid from those who do not believe in the Church of the Omnipotent Shining. The Sacred Kingdom of Granheim receives directly the wealth of taxes, while the believers have ease of work and do not pay taxes.

On a high plateau, in the middle of the mountains stood the castle of the domain, a circular structure with high walls and towers. They were made in such a way that they could not be accessed. Inside, in the great hall of the Regent Mar, the independence of the "Domain of the waterfalls" was enacted:

Lords and ladies of the domain: 

150 years have passes since we abandoned our freedom. 

We had to see how our families and neighbors suffered, for not belonging to the human race.

We have had to pay great tributes, for not professing the new god. 

Today I promise you that I will drive out the Omnipotent Radiance. The lunar mother will reign again on the great island. She, like a flying serpent, will grant us her strength. 

In the northern savannas, a man, Manuhell Baldovo, took out the goldfish with conviction and vehemence. United we will be stronger and therefore I declare the Mar-Mortem State. One where there will be no imposed royalty, where all women, all men, and every demi-human and demi-beast can live in peace.

The domain of the waterfalls is once again FREE.

Regent Mar was a strong woman. She believed in the words of Manuhell Baldovo about freedom, equality and justice. She was willing to risk her privileged position in exchange for achievement. If the submitted wielded power, it would be the change they were looking for: radical and real that would allow the development of the Great South Island.

In the domain hall, in addition to the Regent Mar, were the commanders of the fighting legions on the right, the priests of the lunar cult and the cult of the holy death on the left side. In the center of the room there were three chairs with three stamps:
