Q- Are your characters inspired by any stories, movies, real-life events, or shows?
A- So, I had seen a video on youtube that was somewhat like my story but it used Haikyuu Characters. The video was called 10 wishes. But, Each of my characters represents someone I know and put into the skins of my characters personality-wise. Haru represents my personality personally. Haru in the story does have some anxiety when it comes to meeting new people and trying new things, but he always finds a way to warm up to them. This represents me because I am willing to always try new things, one being me writing this story. I warm up to people and things over time and I wish to portray my personality through Haru's personality and mental state. Jace is based on the personality of my friend Levi. Jace's personality is much more sensitive. He is Ambivert, so Jace will be more social with those he trusts, but he does tend to be quieter and more towards the path of being an introvert. My friend Levi has these qualities. He talks to the people he trusts and who he feels comfortable with. When in a crowd or group, he will talk with people he is close with instead of the others with whom he is not close. The characters of Haru's family are based on my older sister and younger brother. They often fight over nonsense and the simplest things but they always make me laugh. They are always there for me and always have my back. If I ever feel in danger or just uncomfortable, they are there to comfort me. The personality of Andy is based on one of my close friends named Riley. She has a complex personality but will always be there when you need her. Andy is an Extrovert and will talk to anyone and that is exactly what Riley would do. So, to answer the question that was asked in simple words. Almost every single character in this story has the personality of someone around me or one of my friends and family. Each one having a different personality but so alike at one point in time.
Nikkicola asked:
Q- What is your favorite school subject?
A- Personally, my favorite subject would have to be Art or English. I love art for the physical aspect of Art, but there are also different types of art. For me, there are musical kinds of Art. I am a Theater Kid and would not give up theater even if my life depended on it. The art of music and the theatrical parts such as the singing, dancing, props, costumes, and sets, are all the kinds of art that I love. As for the main subject, I really love English class. I love to read and write my own stories. (Such as this story.) I am most creative when I am doing things that revolve around English. Also, This year what made me love English, even more, was my Teacher, Mrs. Jenkins. She was an amazing teacher and taught me so much. Now that my last day of Middle School has come to an end, I will not be able to see her anymore and I miss her dearly. But, I know that I will never forget her and will continue to write this story in honor of her and her class.
Pancakez.boi asked:
Q- What inspired you to make this story/story plot?
A- So, About a year ago or longer, I was watching youtube videos and saw a video that had a similar plot. Basically, the main character in the video wanted to achieve ten things before he moved to another state. So, yeah, basically the general plot of the ten wishes comes from that video. The rest I had thought of while working on the assignment I was given in English class for creative writing. And so, the storyline continues from that video and the creative writing assignment.
That was all the questions that I had gotten, so yeah. If anyone has any more questions, drop them in the comment below and I will make a part two to this Q&A or answer the question on a newer episode.
10 wishes. That's all he gets. Haru was born with a disease that would curse his life forever. Love, Pain, Fear, all belonging to one, but shared with all. Follow along with Haru and his life in the novel, His Last Wish.
