Wow! What a large segment. So much to cover here. So here's some notes:
- The Horiman Museum and Gardens (to give it its full name) is a real place in London that's really cool. They've got a cool aquarium as well. It was suggested to me by the most cockney person I know as a funny museum for Iain to be a fan of because a) it has a funny name, and b) because it set up the seal joke. Thanks Sue! I owe you a pint!
PLAYLIST:
- The song the cleaner is singing is "Washington Bullets" from the stupidly long album "Sandinista" by punk legends The Clash. I recommend it if you want a quick blow by blow account of global superpower subterfuge in the mid 20th century.
- The song that Becky puts on in the car is "Arcarsenal" from "Relationship of Command" by post punk legends At the Drive In (who later spawned the prog rock weirdos The Mars Volta). It's not an easy listen, but it's raw and really cool!
Becky Jones is a normal teenage girl living in a British holiday town: seagulls, chips and golf courses as far as the eye can see. Becky works at Golf Word, and Becky hates golf. Unfortunately for her, she's about to become Golf Girl. The best reluctant-teen-golf-superhero the world has ever seen. An all-ages story with a quirky sense of humour.
