Chapter 3: The fall of the Mar-Mortem State and the flight of the rebels.
Part 1: Sacred objects.
*Antiphas Porter is surprised by the dark elf.
The Captain Antiphas Porter, was located to the south of the castle of the cascades. While they were camping heard the roar from the border field. A smile was observed through the opening of the captain's helmet.
"Wow, I can see the satisfaction that death brings in you." A voice exclaims from the dark night.
Antiphas and his men sit up, some not putting on their armor.
-Do not fear, all are already dead- sobs the voice of the darkness.
The 80 infantrymen of Antiphas begin to vanish. A green mist takes over each of the bodies, like poison clouds.
-Blasphemy! I will not fear death because my lord is its master. Lord, order your servant not to raise her hand against your children! '' Cried Antiphas.
The voice in the darkness said with complete confidence - I am Cranium D´Gard, of the trident of the domain, I am known as the elf "Necromancer", semi-human and this is the revenge for the rebellious blood spilled by each one of you.
There were no explosions, no cries of despair, only the captain and his infantry fell dying. When the holy knights galloped back to camp, they observed their companions completely inert in the undergrowth.
-Witchcraft! Blasphemy! - The knights exclaimed, covering their faces.
But it wasn't witchcraft, the dark elf said. He insisted that it was the power of mother death resting on the conquerors. That elf with dark skin and bright violet eyes did not intend to leave anyone alive. But across the hill Elohi Amber, the combat prior, appeared from the north side.
Between the castle of the waterfalls and the powerful troops Grigor Mar-Mortem, "priest of the ancient gods and protector of the moonstone", marked the red line to the prior.
"They will not pass," said the high priest of the ancient religion.
Elohí, kneels and covers his face with his hands while reciting the holy prayer, his forehead touches the floor and exclaims:
"And so, the angel of God, heard my cry"
*Objects where angels sleep.
Five objects had been placed by the prior on the stones of the forest. Some deep sounds like trumpets rumbled from the sky. Five rays of light illuminated the five objects and five beings of light, which moved like flames, lit up. They descended from heaven, illuminating their surroundings, faceless and almost transparent, the angels had been summoned.
-These are the Lord's angels, and just so you know, they are among the weakest in his army. This is a reminder for those who want to face the glory of the mighty Blaze of Eternal Glory. ”The good Prior shouted.
It is said that this type of angels were impregnated in blessed objects. One year at the temple altar was enough for the angel's exalted blessing. This can only be summoned by a believer from the Lord's church, and will attack the intended target in order to defend the believers. Angels are anthropomorphic beings, made of energy that manifests itself in the form of light. They have no consciousness at all and are handled, in this case, by the mind of the Prior, who was the one who summoned them.
One of the angels lunged at the dark elf, Cranium D'Gard. Another of them reached the pagan priest Grigor Mar-Mortem. The other three protected Elohí Amber.
Cranium D'Gard, the "necromancer", began to concentrate the remaining energy of those who had just died. Those bodies, still warm, emanated the energy that the necromancer would use.
Unlike potentates, pagan warriors and priests used items that had been blessed by their gods, according to legends. These sacred jewels had passed from generation to generation to concentrate the vital energy, called by them Vitriol. Some say that the blood of the gods had fallen on these sacred objects, sealing great power in them. Therefore, for each god there could be many sacred jewels.
When the mother goddess became pregnant with the sun, she gave birth to a daughter who was like lava from a volcano. The blood of mother earth fell on precious objects that had been brought to her to rejoice her. These pieces shone with intense light like precious jewels and the goddess left them as a souvenir to her devotees. Since then they have been known as the sacred jewels.
Later the legend of the gods of Granheim tells that the jewels grant magnificent powers to their wearer, but that if the sacred jewel in question is carried by a chosen one of the gods, the sacred jewel will release unimaginable powers, of course, that the latter had not happened anyway.
The dark elf, Cranium D'Gard possessed a sacred jewel known as "The Helm of the Death Mother." It was a helmet that on the front showed a kind of skull of an intense blue color.
When the necromancer elf activated the vitriol extracted from the fallen soldiers, an aura of green radiance surrounded him. For some reason, he felt so much stronger than ever before.
"Mother death ... Turn on!"
*Cranium D´Gard, the "necromancer", member of the trident of the domain.
D'Gard knew that if the angel approached, he would surely die. So he gathered all the vitriol from the corpses and concentrated it in a single attack. An accurate and deadly blow of energy for a living being. But is an angel alive? Can an angel die?
