"Adel, where are you going now? You took a day off, right?" Claire asked Adel with a pressing voice.
"Do you think I am going off my own accord? That good for nothing loafer mayor called me out all of a sudden and requested to join him." He said.
"Why don't you just deny him? It's not like you work under him." Claire questioned.
"I would have done so, but he said some important guest wanted to meet me." He said.
"Well, you have no choice then. I wanted to buy some new clothes for the children but alas. You should go since it may be important but try to come as soon as you are done." She requested.
"Yeah, I will do that. Okay then, see you later." He bid his farewells and went out of the house.
"Haaaa looks like I can't go shopping today." Claire sulks and looks outside.
"Ohh, it's already this late. I should wake up the children." Claire says to herself and closes the door.
Mayor's office
Adel entered the mayor's residence through the front door and moved towards the main office.
"Yaare, yaare, they can't let me get a day of rest, can they?" Adel thought as he reached the main office.
He then rang the bell (real bell, not the electronic ones) outside with the help of the holder hanging down.
He heard slight footsteps of someone coming towards the door which became solid as the doorknob twisted and the door was opened. In front of Adel stood a fat man showing a creepy welcome smile.
"Ohh Adel you are here." He said with a creepy smile.
"Well, you asked me-"
"Oh, is that so? Ho, ho, the news reaches your ears so quickly. You especially came here to meet Mr. Wilfred." The chief said while giving different gestures to Adel that he didn't understand a bit.
"What-"
"Oh, lucky for you. He also wanted to see you." He said while blinking but Adel was too dense.
"You bast-"
"Come on in. I know you are eager to meet him." He said and called him inside.
"What is he doing? Well, whatever. I need to go in first." Adel thought and entered the office.
He saw a man with a long beard sitting on the couch looking at him. The chief sat down followed by Adel. They were sitting in front of each other with a wooden table between them.
"Mr. Wilfred, this man here is Adel Paizer, the one whom you wanted to meet." The chief said with a nervous smile.
The old guest adjusted to his position then coughed a little and said, "Mr. Mayor, this person here one of your subalterns(close to subordinates), right?"
"Did he just called me a subordinate of this fattie?" Adel thought. He was about to speak but the chief cut him in between.
"Y-yes, why do you ask?" The chief said with a wavering voice.
"It's just that I have never seen someone talk to their subordinates in such a respective way," Wilfred said.
"Well, that's..." The chief stammered and looked towards Adel to speak something.
"Well, it's not like I can tell him my real identity. Let's move with this play for now." Adel sighed.
"Our mayor here is really a kind-hearted person from inside, even if he doesn't look so from outside. He treats everyone equally even his own army. I guarantee that he is one of his kind in all ways and you can't find many of them." Adel started his fake cherishing to control the talk.
"Ho, ho, you give me too much credit. It's all because of the loyalty of my people here." The chief said while showing an introverted smile.
"What are you getting so shy and excited for? Don't forget I am just protecting your ass. So don't get too carried away." Adel whispered in the chief's ears.
All the smiles and shyness shattered and they simply started looking at each other.
"Ha...ha...ha" The chief started chuckling nervously.
"Ha...ha...ha" Adel also started chuckling.
"I can somewhat deduce your relationship with your people from the two of you," Wilfred said smiling.
"Hehe, you think so?" The chief started smiling again but stopped after seeing the disdainful Adel.
"So what did you come here for?" Adel asked.
"Hey, Adel. He is a guest. Talk to him appropriately." The chief said panicking.
"Oh, it's alright. After all, we have already talked too much so we should come to the point." Wilfred said while rubbing his beard.
"Finish it quickly so I can go back home and rest a little." Adel thought.
"Listen to me carefully," Wilfred said and both of them started looking at him.
"Alicante is soon going to plunge into chaos." He said.
In the field, near Shin's home.
"Darn it. I almost overslept today. Dad would be really mad at me if I miss my morning practice." Wayne was talking to himself as he moved to the fields for some practice.
"Hmm?" Wayne stopped.
He saw a little boy sitting at the corner and looking at the field, senseless. He started running towards him and called him out.
"Hey, you there," Wayne shouted.
"..."
The kid looked at him and then started looking towards the center of the field again. Wayne sat down beside him and started looking at him.
"I have never seen you here, are you new in the town?" Wayne asked the kid.
"..."
"Hmm, you don't talk much," Wayne said.
"I will do the talking part then and you shake your head," Wayne said although the kid was unwilling to do so.
"What's your name?" Wayne asked.
"..."
The kid gave him a cold look and then turned his face.
"Ah right, you can't tell your name by shaking your head. It was so dumb of me. Hehe...he...he" Wayne said while scratching the back of his head.
Do you think you can get away from hell? Of course not. We humans don't have that power and authority. But there is someone whose identity and authority both are a mystery. Although he was human like us, who knows what happened to him before and after that. But one thing is clear, hell is inside him but he is still avoiding it.
