Bloodstone comes to an understanding of why she did what she did, but the others reassure her she's already changed a lot for the better.
TRANSCRIPT:
Part 10 END
Amethyst: Jasper just refuses to listen. It’s frustrating, but you gotta just not let her get to you.
Lapis: She’s… strong-willed.
Bloodstone: But she claimed the entire WOODS! She can’t just kick us out of there! And secluding herself like that can’t be healthy, she should open up to someone…
Garnet: That’s not a decision we can make FOR her. The best we can do is give her time.
Steven: But we won’t give up.
Bloodstone: I guess I just… saw a lot of myself in her. The way she’s shutting herself off, and acting hostile to anyone who comes near her… it makes me so mad. Because that was ME!
Lemon Jade: But all that changed! Remember when you opened up to me on Homeworld? And then you trusted me when I wanted to go yell at the Diamonds?
Lemon Jade: And look at you now! We’re all happy. You, me, Pinky, Topaz, even the Zircons back on Homeworld.
Bloodstone: But I want that for her. Nobody should have to be like that when things could be so much better if they just choose for them to be… but I guess… I shouldn’t be worried about that for someone I barely know. And I shouldn’t let my temper guide me.
Lemon Jade: We’re proud of how far you’ve come, Bloodstone.
Pinky: Everyone makes mistakes… the important thing is that you learn from them.
Pinky: ...the best we can do… is hope the same for her.
(THE END)
In this short spinoff-sequel to "Jaded", Bloodstone develops a new dynamic with an unexpected character; a dynamic fueled by anger.
"Seeing Red" takes place one year after "Jaded", right in the middle of the two year timeskip between "Change Your Mind" and Steven Universe: The Movie. It was made in the hiatus halfway through Steven Universe Future.
