Ava glared at the cat and slowed unexpectedly, almost tripping on the pavement. Half Moon swerved to avoid her.

“Well, if a certain cat hadn’t knocked my alarm clock off the nightstand and broken it, I wouldn’t have been late to school! And then I wouldn’t have gotten detention! For once, being late wasn’t my fault.” Ava angrily yelled at Half Moon.

Ava has a lot on her plate. School, friends, her boyfriend... Oh, and saving the world. Ava isn't just your average person, she and her friends are magical girls. But fighting the forces of evil isn't easy and sometimes the worst betrayal can come from within.
