The background was made of, among other things, blurred pages from the unfinished predecessor comic Wyrecats; the old version is in canon with this new reasonably spelled WIRECats, albeit as K.A.’s foggy memories following her awakening with the details blurring together. Such as remembering herself as a brunette.
