Turning back towards the stand I would slam my head down towards the counter as I began to feel a little down.
"Look if your gonna be all moody, can you please go somewhere else" Kyanite would tell me as she looked towards me squinting her eyes. Now they may not have believed the witch but I indeed could felt that something just wasn't right, so I had to be on my guard at all cost. Sitting at the booth as they ate I would just watch the sunset over the peaceful skies. Once Felix finished eating I would decide to walk along with him to the inn to make their sleeping preparations for the night. As we approached the two knights at the door before allowing inside the inn. Inside we spotted a young woman behind a counter located on the right side who quickly greeted us with a smile upon her face.
"Hello and welcome to our Inn, how may I assist you today" she would say. Felix would head over to handle business, however, I would begin examining the long hallways, as this inn had to be huge as it's the main attraction in this town apart from the markets. As I continued to look I would suddenly jump in fear I feel something tap me on my back.
"Oh god please don't kill me!!" I would shout
"What are you talking about, you're fine" Felix would tell me as he began to tell me that he had finished his wife and his booking for the night. Telling from that everyone was paying for their own room, leaving out of luck because I had no money to pay for a room which in my case is a good thing. If I had to pick between sleeping here or the wagon, I'd pick the wagon. Exiting the inn we would notice that the knights outside the entrance were no longer there.
"This cannot be good news" I would tell myself I would follow behind Felix and he goes to retrieve his wife.
Heading into the forest Kyanite would be posted up alongside the horses as it would appear she wouldn't be staying in the inn as well.
"So your not staying in the Inn, as well?" I would ask her as watched the other head into town for tonight. Kyanite wouldn't give me a straight answer just yet as she looked up towards the night skies.
"Nope I don't think I will" she replied as I watched the stars reflect upon her blue eyes. As Kyanite would turn her head towards me as she stayed posted up she would begin to grow curious of just why I decided not to stay there as well.
"Because, well... What if the witch was right and they are wrong" I would try to explain to her. She wouldn't reply, Kyanite just closed her eyes and continued posting up against the wagon.
"Well just saying if it is true" she would say quickly catching my attention.
"We are gonna be in some trouble, these people are in no shape or form to take on Jarel Kingdom knights explained Kyanite.
"They have you right, I mean you can help them outright like you did before" I answered.
"Wrong, not even I can take on an army, and last time you could say you all were lucky it was a full moon triggering a sort of power boost in my abilities, I am no warrior" she would explain as she turned her attention towards me. She would begin to tell me that her clan were hunters, very good hunters to be honest but when it came to war or conflict which didn't involve them they usually move onto the next location to make their new base.
"So what should we do?" I would ask her.
"Why are you asking me, that's up to them for choosing to stay here"  she replied as she would begin to head up into the tall trees. As I watched her jump towards the branches I could only wonder what I must be like to be able to do that.
"Stop staring at me it's rude and odd" Kyanite would shout down towards me as she began to make herself comfortable on the tree branches.
Quickly turning away I would apologize as I walk off in the other direction and began questioning did I really stare at her that much.

As a looked towards the road leading into the town I could only wonder where those knights that were on the outside of the inn may have wandered off to. Thinking back to it as I left the town there wasn't a single knight to be seen.
Whooosh, a quick gust of wind blows through the night causing the tree leaves and branches to rustle. I could only begin to hope that everything was going to be alright.

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the town, the two witches would have gone their long walk to the next town. As they walked Maple began to grow very curious about why her grandmother was so eager to leave the town in a hurry.
"Grandmother Eris, why are we leaving the town," asked Maple as she tries to balance her hat upon her head. Eris would just keep walking carrying her massive bag upon her back.
"The town is in danger Maple and we must not get ourselves involved with their conflicts" explained Eris as she briefly looked towards her granddaughter. Suddenly something comes quickly crawling out of Maple's bag to her back and finally resting upon her shoulders.
"Hello Olive, finally awake I see," says Maple as she snow-white ferret brushes its soft head up against Maple's soft cheeks. Olive is a magical familiar gifted to Maple from her parents as a parting gift as she set off for adventure with her grandmother several years ago. Maple always a dream to be a great witch, a witch whose magic could make the world cease its war fair. Her dreams were almost that of a child but she has yet to stop trying day after day. However, witches are not always welcome as well, as people are quick to assume they are some sort form of demons from hell living in human form which is what allows them to use sorcery.
Maple doesn't really judge people sure she believes it's wrong but at the end of the day she has taught herself to always forgive as we all share the same mother. Meaning, in short, she believes that we all are the same underneath no matter the skin, color, shape, or form.

[Flash Back]
Eris would begin training Maple once she came of age, it was on midday in the grasslands. Maple would jump in joy as she just received her very first magical wand, sending smiles to her grandmother and shopkeeper's face.
"Oh Thank, thank you, so much, Oh I can't believe it!!" she would shout all the way to the testing fields. The shopkeeper would go stand to the side with her grandmother, giving Maple the full field to test her magic skills out.
"Take it easy, do it like this Maple" explained Eris and showed Maple how to conjure a fireball.
"Roger!" shouts Maple as she quickly turns to face the target in the open field. Placing her left arm in front of her to act as her aim, stepping her right foot back a few meters for balance. She slowly began to gather up magical energy...
"I can feel it, the energy is following through me, today is the day I become a WITCH!!" Shouts Maple as she pops her signature pose.
"I call upon you Masters of creation and grant me the power of fire, Now go forth mighty fire!!" she shouted as a massive fire built for destruction spawned above them...
"OH MY GOD, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!!!" Shouted The Shop keeper as both his and Eris's eyes would be sent flying open as their jaws dropped to the ground. The fireball spell she taught Maple had no reason to be the size of a giant meteor coming in for a crash landing.
Baa, Baaaa!! shouted the sheep in the field as the herd ran for their lives as the wooden target shook as the fireball came in for a landing.
"TA-BOOM" The only to describe this was a  very large nuke went off, that is about as much information as we know. As everything cleared up, the wooden target would still be standing just extremely crispy from the blast.
Eris and the shopkeeper would turn towards the target and then back to Maple as it would appear as the wand they had just purchased for her had now shattered in half.
"M...mmmm.... my wand broke" Cried Maple with a face full of tears as stood in sadly flinging the broken wand.
"Perhaps a different style want then" Suggested The shopkeeper as he walked inside to find maple yet another wand. After a few minutes of waiting he would return and had Maple yet another wand as she jumps with joy.
"This is it, I can feel it my chosen wand of destiny!" shouts Maple. Since Maple wasn't good at fire spells then maybe Wind would be a better option for her. Eris would then be step up pulling her wand from her sleeve, "Now do it like I do child". Maple would practice the hand motions just as her grandmother showed her together before her grandmother would launch a strong wind blowing over the target to the ground.
"Wow amazing Grandmother Eris !!" shouted Maple as she was ready to try it for herself, even the shopkeeper was indeed impressed. As the target was reset Maple would begin to take her stance once more.
"I call upon you Masters of creation, and grant me the power of wind, Now go forth and blow away my target!! shouted Maple. The skies quickly formed dark clouds over the fields as very intense winds began to gather forming a very powerful tornado all over the field. As the sheep tried their best to avoid harm's way, the winds were just too strong to fight against. The shopkeeper couldn't believe his eyes at the sight before him, he was just horrified. If you heard the term if pigs could fly, well today was the day sheep could fly.
"MY SHHHEEEEEPP" cried out the shopkeeper as he rushed into the fields to save his dear sheep. After Maple would try water but well she kind of flooded the entire field and broke three wands in the process.

[Present]
As she petted Olive she began to think back to what happened at their tent station, when she saw the two guests in there.
"Grandmother Eris does this involves your recent clients who came to visit you," asked Maple.
"Yes, indeed it very well may" replied Grandmother Eris.
"So what exactly did you see?" asked Maple. Eris refused to tell her granddaughter as it wouldn't be any need in telling her.
"Some things are best left unanswered young one, now come now we must hurry" demanded Eris.
