DSA* HEADQUARTERS, GENOS CITY ~ 9:48 AM (THE NEXT DAY)
The sounds of purposeful steps and general clamor filled the air. Men and women in dull suits and ties walked to and from coveting the main floor like passerbys on a cross walk. But through the sea of gray and black, a peculiar man could be made out from the ground; mainly due to the vivid colors of his dress. This man had a confident stature, wearing a well-fitted supersuit lined with gold colors. Although his face showed a hint of worry, the rest of the way he stood seemed relaxed. "Jason! Over here!" a voice called from behind. The man turned to look behind him and saw his friend, Tempest. The man, Jason, hurried to greet him. Extending his arms wide readying himself for a big hug. "Tempest, it's been a while. I haven't seen you since Violet's wedding." Jason exclaimed with much joy. Tempest replied, "Yeah, my sector has been going crazy. We've gotten reports of break-ins left and right. We even had a bomb threat too."
"Damn. Sounds rough buddy." Jason uttered. "Nah. It's nothing I can't handle. I mean that is why I'm the number three hero" Tempest reassured his friend. "Well, why don't you give me a call? I mean I am the number one hero too" Jason said with fierce, but friendly, arrogance. "Wow, you two are comparing sizes still. Man, things really don't change" a woman's voice commented from behind them. "Violet! What are you doing here?" Jason exlaimed while giving her a hug. "Well the honeymoon ended a bit earlier than expected cause of work. Plus, my hubby pulled his back while ziplining."
"Aww, poor guy" Tempest replied. "Say "hi" to the big goofball for me." Jason asked. Violet nodded in a agreement. "Anyways, were you all summoned here for a meeting too?" Violet asked. "Yup" Jason answered. "Sure are" Tempest replied. "Is it with Director Thompson?" Violet asked again. The two boys nodded yes. "Wow must be something pretty serious if it needs all three of us." Violet commented. "Actually the heads of the Seven Gifted Families are here too." Jason added.
"What?!" Tempest and Violet both squealed. Jason then began, "Yeah they just went up on the elevator." The three of them looked at each other with a fit of seriousness. They understood that if the head of the families were here then something big must be going on. They quickly scurry to and travel up the elevators. Should they be scared? Worried? Relaxed? Whatever they must feel, they knew that whatever lies beyond the four-inch thick elevator doors wouldn't be any sort of good news.
