The three young heroes exited the elevator doors, and into a chaotic world in disarray. Agents passed by quickly and hurridly. Marching to the drum of their own heartbeats. A slight tension filled the air as well as a bit of panic. "Ah, well if it isn't the three amigos!" a voice called out to them. It was a tall man dressed in all black; all the way from head to toe. He had a composure that looked relaxed and a bit of arrogance emenating from his smirk. "Ghah! you're...you're him!" Violet gasped. "You're the Eternal!" she added. The man giggled slightly at her reaction leaving a slight smile on his face. "Oh please, call me Nal," he asked.
"Anyways, sorry for all the commotion. This floor was the only one that had a conference room big enough for everyone. Please follow me." Nal told them. Stunned in amazement the three followed. "DUDE! Did you know he was here? OMG, pinch me I gotta know if I'm dreaming!" Violet told Tempest. "What? No. And I honestly don't get what all the hype is. I mean so what, the guy's immortal." Tempest complained. However in reality his mind was going crazy, "HOLY SHIT! IT'S THE ETERNAL. CRAP, I DIDN'T DO MY HAIR. AHHH HE'S SO COOL. IMMORTALITY IS SOO COOOOOL!".
Meanwhile, Jason, although also fangirling in his head too, held his composure. He thought, "If the Eternal is in on this then it must be something big. Shits definitely gonna go down". Jason then asked, "So umm, Nal, what exactly is this meeting about?". Nal turned around enthusiastically and with a grin responded with "that'll be explained soon." Jason then turned back to Tempest and Violet and saw them glaring with contempt, angry that he was the first to use the Eternal's nickname.
Nal took them to the front of a big double door. "Here we are," he exclaimed "the meeting will start soon."
The others already in their seats, noticed the three heroes come in, fixating their eyes on them. However, they suddenly turned away without any interest. The conference room had a large oval table in the center of the room, minimal lighting entered the space, meanwhile there was a projector getting readied at the front of the room. From the left side, the three noticed the heads of the Seven Gifted Families. And to the right some DSA agents, scientists and three seats reserved for them.
Violet then noticed a very noteworthy individual in the room. "Oh my god, is that Dr. Eli Thompson?!" she asked the two. Tempest and Jason looked up to see, unsure of who she was really talking about. "Umm who?" Jason asked. Violet then began ecstatically, "Oh my god it is him. That's the Dr. Eli Thompson. He's one of the top leading figures in the scientific community. His research paper on superhuman physiology and biochemistry revolutionized the way we think about evolution and adaptation amongst humans! He even won a Nobel prize for his experiements in meta-energy research! Plus he's super hot!". Jason, very uninterested, commented, "Ugh fangirl much."
"Oh hush-up. I'm a biomed major. I am allowed to fangirl." Violet scolded. Tempest then thought about what he knew about him. Violet suddenly rushed over to Dr. Thompson, greeting him with a large smile. They talked for a bit exchanging experiences within laboratory experiements. Suddenly the lights went dim, it was their queue that the meeting was about to begin.
