Jacks POV

 

I woke up to my alarm ringing in my ear telling me it was time to wake up and go to school. I turned my alarm off and sat up in bed I stretched as I stood up and began getting ready for school. I put on a black and white striped t-shirt, with a black coat over it, and a pair of dark blue jeans, and for some accessories a black beanie, and two leather bracelets one red, and one black.

 

After putting all my clothes on I went down to get some breakfast. 

 

"Hey, mater are you here?" "I'm in the kitchen sweetie." I walked into the kitchen to find my mother getting breakfast ready "did pater leave for work already?" I could see her face falter before she put her smile back on again "Yeah, he left early this morning. He is trying to up the security after the wolf attack, so we don't have to move again." she sighed as she put the knife down "Look, Jack, I support you in almost anything you do as long as it is not illegal but can you please try to stay away from that wolf please Jack, your father is really worried about, just try to stay safe okay?" "Yeah, I will try mater." "And remember your pill."

 

I took a glass from the cabinet and filled it with water, I took a pill from its container and swallowed it along with the water "There are you happy now." she giggled as she spoke, " Yeah now you have to go before you are late." I grabbed some toast before putting my black converse on and leaving.

 

time skip to Jack being in class.

 

3rd pov 

Jack was working on his school project as one of the girls walked up to his table " What are you working on Jack?" he looked to see who was talking "you are James’s girlfriend right?" "Yes, I am, I wanted to apologize for the other day when he hit you." Jack wanted to believe her, but he just couldn't "umm yeah sure but what was it you wanted?" " I wanted to know what your project was about." Jack looked at her a little before answering "My project is about racism in the past, why?" "Oh, it wasn't important." she smiled before walking over to her friends again.

 

Jack could hear hushed whispering and laughing coming from the girl's table, he looked over and sighed as he saw the headline of their work 'Racism in The Past' ' great now I have to find a new topic to write about ugh' Jack laid his head down on his table felling a headache forming. "Jack, are you sick or something?" his teacher asked, " uh I have a bit of a headache." Jack said as he lifted his head from his table "if you don't feel like working you can just go home and do nothing instead of being here." his teacher said sounding a bit annoyed. Jack packed his things and walked out of the classroom and down the hallway to his locker.

 

Inside his locker was his guitar, and some of his other books, he put his books inside his locker, and took his guitar out, before closing his locker again. "I know I promised mater to try and stay away from the wolf, but I need a place to be alone right now, and the forest is the only place I can think of." he said to himself as he walked off school grounds and headed to the forest. Inside the forest, he found a fallen tree to sit on and began to play a song.

While he was singing the white wolf slowly crawled closer to Jack trying to be quiet as to not disturb Jack. When Jack was done with his song the wolf laid its head on Jack's knee "Oh hey there little wolf did you like my song?" The wolf just looked at him and jumped up and began licking his face "haha okay okay I get it you can stop now." he pushed the wolf back on the ground "Was it you who saved me? And was it you outside my window last night?" "Woof woof" "Haha I guess that is the best I'm going to get huh" Jack began to pet the wolf's head and it laid down on the ground.

 

Jack began to ask the wolf some questions,” You know what a mate or soulmate is right?" The wolf's ears twitched, and it gave a little groan "I take that as a yes. You probably don't know it, but it is actually pretty hard for a vampire to find their soulmate, they have to befriend them, and have to share a meaningful memory with them, to be sure. But if you are wrong, and it is not, who you think it is, you have to do it all again, there is, of course, a little pull to the right person but sometimes that pull is too weak to notice, and you can end up falling in love with the wrong person." As Jack was talking, he didn't notice that a tear was falling down his cheek "I would be happy to find my soulmate but everybody either hates me, or is afraid of me, so I'm probably never going to find them." Now he was full out crying and the wolf laid its head on Jack's knee again to try and comfort him "You wolfs have it pretty easy, you just have to look at your mate to know that it is them." The wolf whined to try and get Jack's attention, Jack wiped his eyes "Hey, I'm fine now you don't need to worry about me."

 

"It is getting pretty late I have to go now. I hope to see you again and thank you for saving me, bye." Jack began the walk home and was ready to go to bed.
