Airson would leave Cell City to chase his dream of becoming a Knight of the First Order. Aron mentioned that he was staying in Cell City. They said their goodbyes and went their separate ways.
At the western port of Cell City, Airson hopped on a boat that would take him to Arbok. On the ship, there were five other kids Airson's age that had the same plan as he did, to become a Knight. He knew them from the cells in Cell City. They were his closest friends. These children were; Reesus (Male, smoke and wind power, Reesus could emit smoke from his body, and turn into smoke for short periods of time. He also could attack with the smoke, or use wind-based attacks), Miraka (Female, fire and solar powers, she uses fire attacks, and feeds off the sun's energy), Nigel (Male, wood and nature powers, Nigel can turn various body parts into wood, or create armor out of it, he also has healing abilities and plant control), Katie (Female, Ice and water powers, Katie can generate water and ice from her body), and Niwea (Male, uses light and dark energy).
On arriving at Arbok's western shore, Airson and the rest went and walked to Arbok City, where the First Order was based. To get into the Knights, the recruits had to showcase their powers and/or abilities. From there, the exam officials would assess the recruits' potential. There then was a written test (that everyone studied for) for general knowledge of the world and of the Knights.
Afterwards the top fifteen recruits would be allowed into the Gamma Squadron. Airson, Katie, Miraka, Reesus, Nigel, and Niwea made up six of the fresh recruits.
In the Gamma Squadron, there was a grim-mannered boy who was known to be a combat genius. His name was Asnoth. Even at age fourteen, Asnoth was stronger than everyone in the Gamma Squadron, including the adults. He had a demeanor that showcased his belief in being better than everyone else. He paid no mind to Airson and his friends.
Airson tried introducing himself, "Hey, I'm Airson, let's work together!"
Asnoth glared at him, "Don't get it wrong, I'm in this for myself. I couldn't care less about the rest of you." He walked away.
In the next month Asnoth was a Beta before any of the other recruits. A few weeks after, Airson and his friends made Beta as well.
The Betas held a meeting to introduce the new members. One by one, they stood up, stated their name, and mentioned a detail about them.
It was Airson's turn.
"Hello, my name is Airson, I'm fourteen years old, and I aim to become the strongest man in the First Order!"
Asnoth looked up and glared.
When the meeting was over, Asnoth walked up to Airson outside in the courtyard. "Bold words coming from someone like you."
Airson turned around, "What do you mean?"
"A weakling like you will never be the strongest. Not while I'm around. Make sure you stay out of my way." Asnoth then turned to leave.
"What's your problem?!" Airson yelled back. "Why are you acting like you're better than me?!"
Asnoth turned his head to look back. "Because I am better than you. I'll never acknowledge you reject orphans from Cell City."
Asnoth turned back to walk away. Airson grabbed the back of his shirt and turned him around forcefully.
Asnoth smacked his hand. "Don't touch me filth."
Airson's lightning charged up. "You wanna go you jerk?"
Asnoth had yellow lightning as well. He charged his energy. White and yellow spiritual essence also emitted from his body. "Try me."
Airson rushed him. He jumped and threw a right kick, Asnoth grabbed his leg and threw him the other way.
Airson recovers. He proceeds to throw punches and kicks, none of which connected.
Asnoth sees an opening to uppercut him in the stomach.
Airson was sent backward.
"Lightning is all you've got? You're weaker than I thought." Asnoth said.
Airson stood up. He winced at the pain. "I'm not done yet! Lightning Charge!" Several streams of lightning dispersed from his hands.
Asnoth raised his arm to block the attack. He absorbed the lightning. "And on top of that your only power is weak. Watch this."
Asnoth raised both of his arms. "White Lightning: Twin Lightning Chains." A white chain appeared and wrapped around his arms like a gauntlet. "This is the difference between me and you." He charged in.
"Too fast!" Airson thought.
Asnoth kicked him in his chest, sending him flying. He then appeared over Airson, and punched him to the ground. On impact Asnoth's chains extended from his arms and wound around Airson. He swung him through the air and slammed him on the other side of the courtyard. Next he pulled the chains inward, about to knee Airson in the chest.
cling, cling!
The chains broke. A man in blue uniform broke the chains and caught Airson, then laid him on the ground.
The man was skinny, with short navy blue hair and a gentle face. "We can't have our two top rookies fighting each other now can we?" he said with a smile.
Asnoth powered down and grunted. "Humph." He started walking back the way he came.
The man looked down at Airson who stood up, beaten.
"Casey, Omega Squadron." He held out his hand.
"Yeah." Airson gave him a handshake.
"I know you probably didn't want me to stop the fight, but it's counterproductive to fight your comrades with such harsh feelings between you. Be more careful from now on." Casey walked off waving behind him.
Airson started walking slowly to his dorm room. "He's right. I'm too weak. All I have is lightning, and Asnoth's lightning is better than mine..."
Airson laid back on his bed staring at the ceiling. "I need to start training more seriously. I can't let him win."
Within the next two years, Airson and his friends trained hard so they could make the top of the Knights.
During these two years, Asnoth made Omega rank at sixteen.
Airson and the others just made Alpha.
At the time, Asnoth was away on a mission somewhere in the Jade Islands.
Airson grew from a boy to a strong young man, constantly determined to get better.
At the top of the Omega Squadron was a middle-aged man named Ahsan; currently the strongest man in the First Order. He had control over all five primary elements (fire, water, earth, lightning, wind), and he was a proficient user of Sen. He recently took it upon himself to become Airson's mentor. He trained Airson on using his lightning more efficiently, and how to use Sen as well.
