"Uhh, you see..." I scratch the back of my head. "My friend and I here are, umm... lost, we really don't know where to go. We're freshmen, and we can't seem to find our homeroom anywhere. We also only have a few minutes left, and we're panicking so much..."
"Ah, is that so?" She laughs out in response to my short explanation. "It's totally fine! I'll help the two of you find your way into your respective homeroom."
"Really!?" I look at her with such ecstasy.
"We're in Class 1-A, if I'm not mistaken... right, Ayano?"
"Yep!" Ayano immediately responds.

In front of Ayano and I is the door to our homeroom.
"It's 7:38, just two minutes left before your homeroom starts." The senior says as she briefly takes a look at her phone's screen. "Go on, you two! In the mean time, just pick some random vacant seats to sit on. Your teacher will be rearranging the seat pattern anyway."
"Thank you so much for your help!" I bow to her as a sign of gratitude. "Without your help, we wouldn't have made it on time!"
"Ayano, here." I whisper to her as I hurriedly walk towards the two vacant seats at the back.
"Ehh, really? Do you know who our assigned teacher is?"
"Wow, that's awesome! But... how can you be so sure that this 'Miss Nakamura' is indeed our adviser?"
"I see. In that case, we know a bit already!"
"Right!? I'm the best at eavesdropping."
"Ahaha, but don't be so proud of that! That's bad!"
"Hey! It isn't my fault that they were talking a bit louder than they should be!"
"Still though, girl!"
I'm listening, I guess.
It was a tall, pretty lady who had a gentle expression on her face, smiling at us as a greeting.
"Pardon me if I'm a bit late, but I'm Nakamura Suzuki, and I'll be your homeroom teacher from now on. I look forward to teaching you for this school year, students!"
Oh, would you look at that.
