Beatrice’s pov

I'm going to lose my mind in this fucking school

It's been half an hour of doing nothing, NOTHING

I could hear the ticking of the clock get louder and louder as every second go by, maybe my sanity was fading away with it

"I can't take this anymore!" I groaned kicking the table and watched it fly right across the room. Dammit.

"How did you do that?" she gasped. Fuck.

"I workout and I'm bored" I smirked, hoping she'd drop it, I had to keep my powers under control

"It's been literally half an hour" she rolled her eyes

"Feels like half a decade"

"Stop being dramatic" she says. My eyes grew wide. Did she really just told ME to stop-

"I should be telling you that" I say

"You don't know me"

"Then let me get to know you Bella" I turned my head to face her

"I'm a walking stereotype" she says settling into the chair more comfortably

"You don't have to be what people want you to be'' I say honestly.``From where I'm from, people beg to restart their life, they crave the clean slate. They regret allowing letting people's opinions be their downfall. Life's too short to not live it the way you to" I say, Bella's eyes locked with mine for the first time. I can feel the butterflies in my stomach erupt from a simple glance

"Where did you come from Amon?" she asked curiously, I smiled and dragged my chair closer to her, kicking my feet up on her table. She glared at me but ignored it

"I'm not from around here, it's far different to what you're accustomed to. Schools like this don't exist, everyone lives in pain and regrets everyday. I was tired of it, the exhaustion from waking up and facing that same day over and over again" I shrugged

"So I got the courage to ask my dad if I could stay here for a while, somehow he said yes and now I'm here to ruin your life" I chuckled

"This is temporary?" she asks

"I guess you could say that"

"Didn't your father come with you?"

"No, he had a lot on his plate to take care of that was really important. He sent me out here with someone he trusts, plus he pays for everything so I can't complain" I chuckled, Bella looked down as though she was thinking hard about something

"Why don't you tell me about you" I say, she raises a brow but gave in

"People think that I'm supposed to be this soft, straight A's good girl since my father is the Principal. Around freshman year I was actually that person. Then people started making fun of me, it got so bad that they threw me in a garbage bin in the cafeteria. It was the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me. You should have seen their faces, they just stood there and laughed!" she half yelled, I noticed tears filling at the rim of her eyes.

"Hey, it's okay, we can do this another day" I gave a weak smile, her eyes met mine again and I swore my heart stopped beating for a second!

"Take my number" she says

"Number?" I asked curiously

"Yes? In your phone?"

"Oh! That metal box!" I grinned

"Kinda... Do you not have a phone?" she asked

"No, but I can get one," I smiled, she shook her head and ripped a piece of paper from her notepad. She grabbed a pen and wrote some numbers on it

"Here, put this in your phone when you get one and we can discuss more about the project. Don't let anyone get this number, you're actually gonna be the third person that will have it" she smiled weakly before handing me the paper.

I reached out to collect the paper. Our fingers grazed each other for a second. My eyes ran over her features,  her lips were parted while her eyes stared at our hands. Was this project really the only reason why she was giving me her number? It seemed as though she only gave it to her inner circle

"Are you okay?" I asked, I guess I broke whatever trance she was in. She scoffed and laid back into her seat, her arms crossed over her chest. I shook my head, I was so close

"Alright ladies, your time is up, I hope you've learnt your lesson. Good luck with your assignments and don't let this happen again" The art teacher says

I looked over to Bella but she was already gone. The girl wastes no time.

"Beatrice, it's your first day and you're already getting into trouble" the teacher sighs

"Trouble chases me, miss" I smirked before leaving the class. Olivia is gonna be pissed

There's no one left in the school, the parking lot was sex driven teenager free. I opened the back door of school,  Feeling the fresh air engulfed me. My eyes were met with the dark gray clouds above, was it about to rain!?

I've never seen it up close before. Strike me Zeus!

A downpour of water came down instantly, ah you sly God

I felt the water trickle down my neck, my hair almost completely soaked. I felt amazing, the water washed over as I made my way to the car

I unlocked my car and started the engine, letting it warm up for a few seconds. The GPS coordinates from this morning were still there, so I knew my way back home. I pulled out of the parking lot and drove down the street only to be met with Bella walking in the rain

She hugged her body tightly and hurriedly walked down the sidewalk with no jacket. Can't you get sick like that?

I pulled into the corner and slowly drove next to her, I lowered the window so she could hear my voice

"What are you doing in the rain Princess, I'm the only one that can get you wet" I smirked, she glared at me

"Oh come on, get in the car"

"This is your car?" she stopped in her tracks, her jaw hung open but she shook her head in disbelief

"It is, are you gonna get in OR not"

"I'm not getting into a stolen car with someone I barely know" she said and continued walking. She's so goddamn stubborn

I looked up the clouds awaiting Zeus to help me out here

And he answered

"Ahhh" Bella screamed as a strike of lightning hit the ground a few inches before her

Oh come on Zeus, I said help, not send her to my father

"Okay fine, you don't want a ride home, I'll just be on my way" I smirked and pressed hard on the brake and engine at the same time. Causing a loud noise for the exhaust, it startled her.

"Wait!" she screamed

"Yes Princess?" I smirked

"Can I get in your car?" she asked

"So now it's my car?" I chucked

"Beatrice!"

"Relax, I'm just teasing you, get your wet ass in here" she unlocked the door and buckled herself in within seconds

"Are you okay?" I asked again. This time she nodded but I can see her clearly freezing. I quickly took my jacket off and wrapped it around her shoulders, she didn't hesitate to wrap herself up in it.

She was trembling, her hands were folded. She brought them to her mouth and blew on it in attempt to warm them up

"Can I?" I asked, motioning to her hands. She nodded and I wrapped my hands around hers, ignoring the jolts of currants that ran down my spine

I know my father said to keep my powers on the low but right now someone needed me

I gently blew on her hands, the fire in my throat allowed hot air to escape my lips. The hot air thawed her freezing fingers, her eyes burned holes into my side profile. My eyes met hers and I smiled

"Thank you" she mumbled. I released her hands and settled back in my chair

"Put in your location" I say, she nodded and pressed the buttons. I watched the line that measured the distance of the drive. Hopefully I don't get us lost

With that, I pressed on the gas and drove through the streets during a sudden storm

We drove for 10 minutes in silence. Sometimes I'd catch Bella's eyes on my face but she'd look away or pretend she was playing with something. I pulled up to her house, it was a normal family home.

"Well, we're here" I smiled

"Thank you Beatrice" she mumbled

"And I'm sorry for getting your seat wet"

"Don't worry about it" I smiled

"D-do you want your jacket back?" she asked

"No, keep it, you look hot" I winked

"Thanks again for the ride, and I'm sorry about being such a bitch today. I have no idea what got into me" she says

"Don't apologize, I was out of line, I shouldn't say something like that. I'm sorry" I smiled weakly, we stayed there in silence again

"Well, I should get going now..  Again. Bye Beatrice" she waved unlocking the door

"Bye Bella" I whispered, she was already running to her door step. The rain seemed to seize

I drove off to my destination, awaiting Olivia to chew my head off

It took 5 minutes to get to the front gate

"Hello Miss" an older man at the gate waved before pressing a button to allow me in. I smiled at him and drove to the garage.

The door of the garage raised and a figure was standing behind it

I squinted my eyes trying to make out the imagination. It was Olivia, her arms crossed tightly across her chest and her eyebrows were pushed together. She was pisssssed

"You got detention on the first day!"
