Blush? That's new.
For some clarity on what's going on in Rain's mind while writing his letters to Asher and why this one was so different from the previous ones: Rain literally doesn't care about Mango enough to spare him some figment of his mind by imbedding useless mannerism in his letters. Rain just wrote down whatever he thought, with no mind-to-hand filter, to Asher not thinking or caring if it was rude.
However, Rain loves art. Any form of art. And by seeing Asher/Mango's photography, he is blown away. As aforementioned, Rain just wrote exactly what he felt at the time. So, no, he wasn't taunting Asher.
